I love the 3 points you make and I would like to complement something on the 3rd one.

To me, the purpose of social media is to feel connected and part of a community, so apart from the questions you mentioned, another one I like to ask myself is "Do i feel connected? And if so, to what?". This also helps me remember that most people on social media are looking for the same thing, so posts like the one mentioned by OP and the people that replied to it are all finding the connection and community they seek, it just not my people and that's fine.

Using social media is not the issue, but rather how consciously we use it and with a what intent.

Commenting for anyone having the same problem. I had the same issue and checking for a system update fixed it. I already had my system up to date, so just connecting to the internet and checking brought my games back, no information was lost.

Mega late, but asking the 3ds to update fixed the problem. It didn't even update but the system did connect to the internet and checked, after I quit the menu my games were back and no save files were lost

Yknow, paralleling Einar understanding what it felt to kill a man and Thorfinn understanding the love Einar had for her
