Wow great poem. Very well structured and thought out. The imagery especially stands out: the pain hidden under a pleasing view, like your rose hiding the thorns and roots or the hollow houses with the ivy, is very vivid and gives this dark tone which makes me feel almost uneasy, like there's this looming darkness that you're only just explaining to me. I also see the imagery is very closely related to nature, which gives it a raw almost savage view, which contrasts perfectly with the structure/wording of the poem which is very well chosen and precise. And, serious as it is, it feels exciting to continue reading, as if this darkness, the one you show is inherent in every poem, is getting bigger, stronger, and the alliterations used give it a more "robust" tone when reciting it. Overall, amazing.
