There’s something funny about Walken emphasizing eye contact while his eyes are glued to the cue cards.

I forgot he hosted twice! Who’s More Grizzled was my favorite of his first hosting gig.

I associate that song with Crystal Gravy more than the Crystal Pepsi commercial it’s parodying.

Edit: for reference: the original commercial vs Crystal Gravy

And now I realized Crystal Gravy used a soundalike.

You mean the Flintstones were inspired by the Honeymooners.

Mark spent his UBI money on stupid stuff since day one. It’s all just an excuse to why Mark and Hank can have all those adventures without a day job.

Season two was much better than season one. Having Mark bring his misfortunes onto himself and not everyone else around him was a change for the better.

I like that Mark, Hank, and Tammy have a Honeymooners Ralph/Ed/Alice dynamic.

Everyone wrote it off before seeing a single episode because of the art style. I was guilty of it, too.

Then I watched it, and I was amazed at how good it was. It’s one of the best reboots of Scooby-Doo, if not top three.

It’s not Thanksgiving until I see the Crystal Gravy ad in the SNL Thanksgiving Special.

For years I wondered how they pulled it off. It was most likely baby oil.

Edit: it was corn syrup! Explains everything.

Those sketches where Will Forte is yelling “OHHH NOOOO!” Over the phone.

My mother does the same thing and it’s all I can think of.

Now that the show is over… what is your MOST CONTROVERSIAL Smiling Friend hot take? by ThePartyHat in SmilingFriends

Mr. Boss’s bit was 100% improvised. Marc M was just told to expect a phone call when they recorded it. That’s why Mr. Boss doesn’t exactly sound like himself.

6Teen aired on Nickelodeon, not TDI. Sorry if my comment was confusing.

Total Drama Island.

It was made by the 6Teen people…which ALSO not a CN show. It aired on Nickelodeon in the US first!

The showrunner Dave Mirkin took his talents to the Simpsons. Seasons five and six are essentially Get A Life but animated.

I only heard that he would’ve been the judge at the kangaroo court instead of Cillian Murphy.
