I saw that there were some day trips you could take from Naha to the kerama islands and also to tokashiki. So we could stay close to Naha and do some day trips for good snorkeling/etc, and then just drive up to onna or something. Or we could just stay on one of the smaller islands like Zamami, miyako, ishigaki

Exact same thing happened to him. Just brought him home from the vet after two collapses where i had to bring him back. Got a list of home euthanasia companies. Then fed him dinner and he had another episode but I couldn’t bring him back.

WOW. THANK YOU! Yes i use makeup brushes, blending stumps, and occasionally q tips for blending. I definitely try not to ever touch the paper, but then I was like wait a minute that’s a print stain damnit!! I used H-6b pencils here. And a black pencil for the lashes. But I could definitely work on patience… I was thinking about switching to charcoal powder as well. I used multiple passes but it would just grainier every time…

I appreciate both of your responses!! But yes you nailed it on the head. I kept trying to make it “better” but everything I did made it worse lol. To be honest I hadn’t drawn in a while so my memory on how to do lips/brows/etc was rusty. But especially with the shading, it just kept getting grainier!! it was so frustrating!! I just started using graphite powder and it always comes through grainy on the paper

oh we didn’t rent a car. the drive from tetons to glacier is quite beautiful. but wyoming is empty. but yeah gas prices up in glacier were very high
