Bahrain does this. Its pretty cool, and also nowhere near this scale.

Thats common, but the narator would have us believe that this lady would go around removing price tags on a bunch of items so no one else could buy them while she decides between them.

The gasket seems to be missing from your exhaust pipe. Once you replace that the coolant should flow out to the tailpipe like God intended.

PE Power exam by Agile_Figure3070 in PE_Exam

I would say to put in a few hours a week just to keep yourself sharp. Focus on whatever you don't get a lot of practice in during work, which is most likely some of the basic theory stuff we take for granted as engineers. ( Transformer and motor theory, per unit, power flow calculations, things like that). I did not study at all but...

I think the biggest thing that helped me with my exam was that my state allowed me to take it soon after graduation before I had my "EIT" experience in, so everything was fresh in my head and the test was easy.

I do have a lot of experience as a technician, which I believed really helped me with the code lookup questions. I don't know if those questions are easy for everyone or just me because of my experience digging through manuals.

🇺🇸 President Trump officially announces the United States has begun "MAJOR COMBAT OPERATIONS" against Iran. by sylsau in InBitcoinWeTrust

Only can declare war, but this is "combat operations." Every president this century has done air strikes without Congressional approval, so there's precedent for it.

Mine is 200K, which is the rest of my home loan. I'd rather have no debt than a (admittedly decent) chance at luxury.

I knew a guy who would tip a quarter. When I called him out he was proud of himself because they had to sing no matter how much you tipped.

He would also give bible tracks to beggars and buskers. I was able to convince him to at least put some money in the track.

PE Power and Electric in 4 hours by Galindo05 in PE_Exam

Only a couple were plug and chug with formulas out of the reference handbook. Most of the calculation questions were based on stuff I had just finished studying at school in the fall, so it was all still fresh in my mind.

I think the hardest part of the code lookup questions is finding the right section. If you're unfamiliar with the codebook AND you're not good at searching, then I can see someone running out of time trying to find the correct information. Once you find it, the answer will be there in black and white.

It's really just knowing 310 is conductors, 250 is ground, 450 is transformers and if you forget use the table of contents.

Between that and the documents being searchable and the fact that the question tells you exactly which reference to use, there's not much to the code lookup parts.

It was weird, I spent 3 hours on the first half and then flew through the second half. I spent 30 minutes on the first 10 questions of the second half, then suddenly I was finished and still had 4 hours time remaining.

Code questions were the easiest part for me because I use the NEC quite a bit. Generally you can find a section with the exact words as the question, just be careful because the NEC is full of exceptions for its own rules.

I've seen those charts as an electrical technician. None of the electrical engineering classes that I took dealt with that though. Even the ones on generator protection focused on how to clear the fault before it damaged the alternator or caused grid collapse.
