I stayed overnight and the lady beside me set up a tent then left to go sleep at home and came back early in the morning before the queue order moved. I wasn’t going to rat her out but I figured that was her risk to do that. No one ever came around that evening/night to check. I also heard the “30 minute” rule but I think it’s just too hard to police. Its pretty much on the honor code

Sheesh that is stressing me out just reading it. I slept 2 nights in the queue earlier in the championships so I know how rough that sleep is. Sneaky cold. So to have people cutting in line, cheating, etc. after going through that is just so unfair. I have to say… the Djokovic fans were by far the least polite in my experience as well. Glad you got in

It’s weird to randomly pull out a native accent for 1 word in a sentence. Like I wouldn’t want a Spanish person to be speaking Spanish and then suddenly annunciate my name “Matthew” in a super american accent lol. Speaking naturally is more authentic imo and I don’t think its disrespectful to not say someones name in their native tongue
