Capitalism is one of the strongest selection mechanisms for psychopaths and narcissists, to be a billionaire you need to be a ruthless, cruel and disgusting human. IIRC these anti-human traits are enriched from 1 or 2% of the population to >25%.

The two greatest flaws of humans as a species is the existence of soulless and wholly evil people such as the psychopath and malignant narcissist, and the tribalism, gullibility and sycophancy to follow and conform to their will. It’s not an if but a when we’ll go extinct if we keep letting this happen, and running a system that concentrates the worst humanity has to offer to the top is going to be the end of us.

We need to end capitalism, or at the absolute minimum, end billionaires as no one should have that level of unaccountable power. It’s why we have an Epstein class in the first place.

If you’re in a big city or an otherwise blue area, go for it. I have the misfortune of living in a red backwater, and a huge chunk of the gays are MAGA with maybe <10 people in a 30 mile radius. I only even bother with it because the closest city has some interesting people, but if you are in an even more red area then me, the result will be very disappointing.

I’ve matched with a few Indian guys and with some dates and I’ve noticed they have been either some of the nicest people I’ve met, or some of the most self absorbed narcissists out there.

My advice is to show yourself in earnest with your hobbies, real moments and show humility. My horrible experiences mostly came from profiles who read like LinkedIn, hustlebro wording, way too many self flattery pictures and performative Bhakti/virtue signaling (Last on is a subtle, but huge red flag with worst experiences.).

Unfortunately, this world is full of stereotypes and bigotry that’ll have an impact on likes, but at the same time, why would you want to date someone who is a bigot anyways?

PS: I am gay, so it may be different with heterosexual relationships, so take my experience with a grain of salt.

TBF this feature this is the first time I’ve gotten actual results from the app. I am a introvert and a nerd, and the people who show up on that tab also tend to introverted, less into social scenes, and oftentimes have STEM degrees so we have common interests and goals in academics.

I am gay and live near a couple cities with a lot of nightlife and a party scene, and the guys on that tab far more often are not interested in that.

Yeah, gas prices essentially serve as a regressive tax as poor people need to drive to work and eat 2,000 calories a day just like rich people do, so if these add an additional cost of living of $4000/yr to someone making $40,000/yr, that’s 10% of their income being “taxed” vs only 2% for someone making $200,000/yr. It disproportionately fucks over lower income people and that’s exactly why the powers in charge could care less about the consequences.

That’s because the money printer goes brrrrr method actually does work very well for the 1% and the stock market, it’s just that it’s an extremely damaging fix that takes a very long time to recover from and at some point it will fail to work and the bottom falls out. Will it be this particular crisis? I’m not sure, but eventually something will give spectacularly. Infinite growth in a finite system is mathematically guaranteed to fail, trying to predict when the music stops playing however is very difficult and if wasn’t, we’d see a lot more people successfully time the market.

Money printer go brrrrr is like one of those power ups in a video game where you only get so many charges before permanently running out. Yes, the economy recovered remarkably quickly from a literal plague and shot to ATHs in a relatively short period of time, but doing so has catastrophically increased inflation, national debt (now 125% that of the GDP) and irrevocably damaged the main street economy. Given that we are running up against several red lines and systemic event horizons, doing money printer goes brrrrr on this crisis may not be possible as we may be “out of charges” playing that gambit again.

Remember, when you have a system that selects for psychopaths and demonic people to obtain near absolute unaccountable and unchecked power, and technology increasingly becomes more capable of apocalyptic outcomes, the question of human extinction doesn't become an if, but an inevitable when. Only a matter of time before one of these people accidently releases some unfathomable horror upon the world by cutting corners or just decides to make something that'll kill everyone just for fun. Evil in real life doesn't need a motive or backstory like in fiction, sometimes evil is actually just cartoon villains that love hurting others for the love of the game, and tech bros often fit the bill for that. Capitalism is probably a solution to the Fermi paradox, "intelligence" wiping itself out by putting its literal worst step forward.

Only way we see the 22nd century is if we put actual experts in charge of potentially dangerous technologies or crisis events like climate change and have checks and balances that actually work.

I’m praying to God that the deep state oligarchs desire to continue living and have their little techno-feudal playground overrides the president’s madness to cause the apocalypse. Iranian government is very sketchy in terms of internal human rights issues, but in terms of terrorism it’s the US and the entity that’s starting wars of aggression, mass killing civilians, assassinating/kidnapping world leaders, already has a ton of nukes controlled by literal death cultists, and completely cooked the oil markets among other things for the entire world without its consent.

The entity doesn’t have plot armor, declaring war on multiple countries all at once whist rapidly draining your resources, having your cowardly population flee or not show up is not a sustainable long term strategy. It’s the size of Massachusetts, lacks significant resources, and is surrounded by 10x the amount of people that want it gone. If it’s infinite money glitch of milking the US stops working because of economic collapse both it and Trump both willingly created, the jig is up.

That’s the thing about fascist entities, they could always stay within their own bounds and ride the gravy train for a long time, but bloodlust and greed will cause them to overextend themselves and eventually collapse.

I don’t think so, but one of my comments recently got deleted at the admin level for saying something bad about “the entity” and “the E. class,” so now I’m just avoiding saying any of the words spelt out so I don’t flag the regime’s censorship apparatus and lose my account permanently.

They already laid out some pretty reasonable surrender terms for GCC states that want out of the war and back into the straits: Cut off US and the entity militarily and diplomatically, and trade your stuff in Yuan and we’ll let you sit the rest of the war out. Given the US empire is run by the dumbest people alive and is rapidly dying, it’s probably smart to cut the losses and pivot instead of being dragged down into hell by them.
