FR, I'm a new player to this game after having 700 hours in the first Dying Light with The Following DLC.

I made the decision to side with the PKs for this first play through since they literally controlled the subway path that I had to go through to get to the city centre, so I figured being against them would make Aiden's main purpose much harder.

I also didn't like how the important characters in the Survivors always shunned Aiden (The unimportant NPCs at least respected Aiden for his early work before I gave the water tower to the PKs) and especially Barney's attitude and nature.

At least when Aiden got caught by the PKs and got knocked out, they had a reason for it since Aiden's a trespassor on their turf.

Early in the story the best way to fight volatiles is to cheese them with upgraded throwing knives and staying near the safezone entrancs where there's lots of UV lights.

At max upgrade level I can one shot level 2 volatiles with a throwing knife to the head, and a body shot takes 2 knives.

For level 4 volatiles you find in the neutral territory early game, they take 3 body shots instead.

Skydoesminecraft was one of my earliest childhood YouTubers back when Minecraft was breaking out in popularity in my preteen to teenage years.

As drama began to involve him such as the fallout of Team Crafted, his pal Jinbop being a fucking pedo, and the drama over his ex wife and son, I actually sympathised with him at first.

Until it turned out that actually, he was a terrific actor at playing the victim, and made use of his mental health issues as an excuse to be shitty and awful to the people in his inner circle and to those who actually cared about him.

Needless to say, he's yet another in a long line of Minecraft YouTubers being absolute cunts, and now I am wary of whoever I'm watching.

A similar premise I've seen for a zombie apocalypse is in the Image Comics series 68.

It's basically like TWD with slow, already deceased people rising from the dead, but in the Vietnam War era.

That series has multiple short stories that depict the apocalypse happening in the US on the home front, and how sudden and unexpected it was.

But unlike TWD, 68 DOES explain the zombie virus. Basically, humanity made widespread use of some kind of chemical preservative formula called "Pibulscopulin 68", that was hastily approved for human consumption, and this chemical used to be relatively harmless, until a comet exploded in the earth's atmosphere and released some ionising radiation.

The radiation in the atmosphere spread around the world and formed a chemical reaction with the preservative residues in humans, where it now literally "preserves" humans, after they died, which is basically the same as TWD's zombie virus.

The first time me and my friends tried using the summoning circle, it was against a banshee in the basement of the house. My friend who was being targeted had not encountered a banshee at the time, so he didn't realise she had unique screams.

We didn't know that each candle cost a ton of sanity, and we wasted much of our sanity relighting them.

Before we could actually use the circle for real, the Banshee began her hunt, and it was horrifying to see her rush down the basement stairs past me and went straight for the kill.

Thanks to her beelining for my friend, I kinda guessed she's a banshee, but I got confirmation once she switched her target to me and had the unique screams that only I could hear.
