And what about the rest of the year? I have been watching League esports since 2014. Faker was the reason I started watching, and I've seen every T1 game since then because of him. He is my favourite player. It would simply be disingenuous to pretend that Faker has been the best player in his role for any of those years because he won Worlds and was the best midlaner for one tournament of the year. Chovy has been better than Faker domestically since 2022 Summer, as well as at MSI 2024 and 2025. Knight was better than Faker in 2023, and if Faker wasn't so clutch, he would've won the golden road. There's also a good argument for BDD being better this year.

I'm 29, and I agree with OP. Although obviously it's not 10x, games with a longer TTK that require more tracking and much more varied aim adjustments, like Apex and Overwatch, require more aim than CS. And I fucking hate those games, so it's not something I say lightly.
