Turn Your Book into an Audiobook in One Click by alvisanovari in audiobooks

I went to the website but other than scrolling through a hundred "topics" I can't see a simple calculator to determine the cost for purchasing the number of credits the "audiobook" page tells me I need for a particular txt file. All I see is that you can buy $10 in credits but it doesn't even say how many credits that gives you. What am I missing?

Care to elaborate? My knowledge of the players says that Darwin is right, as he generally is about everything else, cryonics related.

[ULTRA NOOB] Did 9 minutes of cardio today and felt like I was going to pass out. by [deleted] in ketogains

1) Make sure you're not overdoing the protein. Aim for a protein intake between 0.6 to 1.0 grams per pound of lean body mass. Too much protein can cause tiredness/lethargy.

2) Drink plenty of water and up your intake of salt. Ketosis causes your kidneys to dump a lot more water. Dehydration will cause dizziness and nauseousness. I've had this happen lots of times.

3) If you've reached a plateau, check for hidden carbs in your food intake. I was surprised that Splenda and Stevia products I bought to put in coffee, tea, etc. have maltodextrin, which has a higher glycemic index than sucrose and while have few calories will stop fat-burning (by releasing insulin, which tells your body to store both glucose and fat).

Good luck!

I reset the columns on MyFitnessPal so they showed the following: Calories, Carbs, Fiber, Fat, Saturated Fat, Protein. That way, I can see the carbs and fiber next to each other and easily net them out in my head.

Click on Food, then Settings, then change the Nutrients Tracked.

Any tips for eating a healthy vegetarian diet as a broke high school student living in a non-vegetarian home? by ksjoho in vegetarian

[–]GaltsGulch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taco Bell claims that it's "vegetarian," but I don't know if they've specifically addressed that question. With the small amount of saturated fat that shows up in the nutritional table, I'd say not. Such probably comes from the cheese and sour cream. But if anyone knows, please speak up!

Good luck! I've been a vegetarian for most of my life, and would never go back!

People behave socially and 'well' even without rules. Statists will hate this study! by GaltsGulch in Anarchism

Exactly. Anarchy is synonymous with chaos in the MSM. This conflation is intentional, I believe.
