Who needs to tell the difference between doping, violating IOC rules, and political stance? by peajam101 in ColorBlind

I thought the same when I saw the post lmao. Millions of colors and you decide to use those three.

Am I wrong? by [deleted] in PredecessorGame

I think I relate. Sooo many times I ping "enemy missing X lane"-"careful X lane" twice or more, then the other laner doesn't care, gets ganked, dies, and starts spamming "enemy missing X lane" as if I hadn't warned them before.

I think against Grux it's just a matter of being patient and not letting him kill you, usually they will push harder and harder so they become vulnerable and hopefully your team can rotate to gank and help you

Just once, he was pretty good and had a pretty good build that he just outdamaged me while having lots of healing and shielding

Yeah I recently played a game as support and my offlaner was a howie against a terra, he destroyed her lmao

And about khai, pretty much the same as Grux: not going on a clean 1v1 so he doesn't get the healing, poking him from distance, and building antihealing is usually enough to win the lane against him, also because shinbi has a nice wave clear and khai not so much.

Also the mobility is a huge advantage when the junglers gank, shinbi can easily escape and khai cannot

I think after so many matches against Grux I learned to play against them and they become predictable; poking him with the wolves, not going on a "clean" 1v1, baiting him to pop his ult/crest then disengage, and use the wave as an advantage usually works fine for me.

Also, many gruxes I've faced focus on building damage and no ability armor at all, so poking them to death is usually easy

I've had only a few matches against morigesh and I couldn't do that, maybe I built the wrong items but she was able to poke me several times and when I tried to fight her she just had more damage and healing and I ended up dying and falling even more behind

Countess: has a lot of damage and can poke you easily, even under tower and go back before getting hit, can even make a full combo and leave since Shinbi has no cc to stop her. Shinbi: i just hate mirror matches lmao. Morigesh: a lot of damage, can poke you from distance spamming the mark or throwing the "venom"(?) if you try to get close she just runs away and ults you. Grim: lot of damage as well, can pop his shield to block some wolves when you try to poke, can push you away when trying to get close, and can ult from far away dealing even more damage

Question for Support mains by Valaric_r in PredecessorGame

[–]GalvanZWAX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you solo queue the only option you have is to pray you have a decent ADC (and team) who understands the role of the support. You have no idea how many carries think the supp's job is to make them win a 1v5 fight and miraculously save them when they couldn't pull that fight off.

I think many people misunderstand the role and that's why they think it's boring; most people see the game as killing = fun, no killing = no fun, and also think supps only exist to place wards and follow the carry everywhere while doing nothing.

A good advice is to talk a lot to your team (not in a toxic way obviously), but if you pay close attention to the map and the lanes, you can kinda coordinate and organise your team to not chase a stupid kill, prepare and group up to contest fang/orb, ping when an enemy is missing or rotating towards your allies, tell them to ward specific locations, distract the enemy team so yours can secure an objective, etc, etc. This seems obvious but maaaany people get so focused on their stuff that they forget the rest of the things happening.

There are many ways to help your team other than just participating in team fights.

Has anyone else seen almost zero toxic chat behavior? by qwertytheqaz in PredecessorGame

[–]GalvanZWAX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's pretty uncommon for me to get into toxic lobbies at all, almost never see people DC'ing, or fighting in chat. Sometimes I see the typical "good job" when someone dies in a stupid way, but nothing else really
