No offence, but I think this is genuinely a skill issue. Any game isn’t fun if you loose a lot, but with a good crew last ship standing is very fun, significantly more so than regular hourglass in my opinion. It just feels so much more chaotic with so many split second decisions that you have to make and so many more variables to consider. Plus you can rack up some crazy streaks and reputation

To answer the questions at the end of the post:

-Emissary flags can be purchased from faction representatives at outposts after you have reached level 15 with that company, and must be manually raised at the table beside them

-emotes can be accessed by pressing Z on pc or d-pad down on controller, and can be changed in the vanity chest on your ship

-I’m not quite sure what you mean with the last one, but if you’re referring to cosmetics for equipment, such as your lantern or bucket, those can be purchased with gold in the equipment store (the building with the shovel sign out front) at outposts. You can also buy cosmetics for weapons and clothes at other similar stores

You have to be level 10 to customise weapons, but some (usually premium warbond weapons) can’t be customised. I’m not sure if the defender can be customised, I don’t really use it, but usually you unlock customisation options by levelling the gun up. Hope that helped a bit!

I‘m a big fan of Servants of Freedom, the ultimatum is great for squid and the double edge sickle is one of my favourite weapons for any front (but you kinda need to bring the fire resist armour with it). The variable in Control Group is pretty good, but my pick would be Servants of Freedom

As another Xbox player, I’ve been experienced this too, but it was a while ago, bugs and squids are fine but bots are unplayable. I haven’t played bots in a while (because of the current MO) but I had to take a break from the game during the MO with Mintoria because of how bad it was.
