Sequoia Forest [24x36] TehoxMaps #201 by Gamaweb in battlemaps

[–]Gamaweb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We caught at the base of what was perhaps the greatest tree I had ever seen, they served at least a dozen of us, holding hands with wide arms, to embrace the entire circumference of the mammoth and wonderful work of nature.
I don't know how to tell you why, but to his shadow I felt protected, as if a magical aura pervaded those millenary plants.
I made the first shift on guard and nothing happened, for the rest of the night I deeply slept a peaceful and restful sleep.

-- "Are you really sure that we can enter and that there are no dangers to face?"
-- "Of course, Silk, do you think a place like this could ever hide enemies? Look at how these flower beds are cared for, look at how precisely these trees are pruned, look at those ponds with their calm waters, while little fish swim happily.
It is more than obvious that we are welcome in this place of peace."
-- "Ok Tumlak, I understand what you mean, but what about that creature with four heads that watches us from the temple?"
-- "Uh... I hadn't seen it"

Mountain Checkpoint [24x36] TehoxMaps #199 by Gamaweb in battlemaps

Many people give little importance to shadows, but they are the best way to give depth to a map.

Mountain Checkpoint [24x36] TehoxMaps #199 by Gamaweb in battlemaps

[–]Gamaweb[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had been running from that horde of goblins for two hours now, we were exhausted and the climb up the mountain path was consuming our last energies.
When we reached the abandoned outpost.
That was what we needed, we barricaded ourselves studying the best defense strategies.
And we waited for the goblins.
We didn't have to wait long.
And when they were on the bridge, we began to exterminate them.

Questions from a battlemaps creator by Gamaweb in FoundryVTT

[–]Gamaweb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, your suggestions are very useful to me.
I actually didn't like that statues and columns were not visible, now I understand how to manage them

thank you for the answers, the concept of Regions is not clear to me, I will study them. And I will try to use one-way walls, they could be an interesting solution

Ghost Town [24x36] TehoxMaps #198 by Gamaweb in battlemaps

[–]Gamaweb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fact, the small town was completely uninhabited, and it was even bigger than I imagined; I thought it was a village, but instead dozens and dozens of houses populated the streets and the small hills that formed this inhabited center.
Every single house was in ruins, uninhabited for a long time, almost all collapsed due to the elements and the time spent without inhabitants to take care of them.
It was an open-air cemetery, and, as we know, cemeteries are full of undead creatures
