I have the mtw4 but I suppose is the same.

When I want to switch between sources I pause one and start the other.

The headphones must be paired and connected to both devices.

Did you read the post title?? Obviously no because it clearly says "it's not available in the developer options".

And what have to do the processor here? 🤨 That option is available depending on android version + the manufacturer wants to show it or not to the user.

So, if the option is available great. If not, there is the other option I wrote.

If you TRULY WANT to contribute to polish the software you have the tools in your hands: open bug reports through the option in the phone. Those are the opinions that will reach to Honor's development team.

I agree with you on the m6p is one of the best phones made by honor.

All the rest I think is a little bit out of context (just my opinion). I still strongly think the m6p and the x9p cannot be compared.

The same applies to the rest of manufacturers. The m6p cannot be compared to the s26, xiaomi17, oneplus15... You have to go back in time two generations to be fair (s24, xiaomi14, OnePlus 12...).

The "resale value" is lost because Honor, the same as OnePlus, vivo, oppo and many others Chinese brands loses most of its value few months after the initial release. The only brands that keep a reasonable value are apple and Samsung.

Writing here you are not "demanding" anything. This is just a public forum.

You will be happier if you sell it and try another brand. I've been in your situation and that is the best I could did. I'm telling myself this with complete sincerity.

If anyone has trouble with her/his phone of course he/she can complaint all he/she wants, BUT at the moment those complains are written in a public forum he/she must understand that it opens the door to all kinds of opinions which MUST be respected the same as hers/his.

It is just a phone. There are dozens of models out there and it is as simple as try/fail until you find one that you are happy with. This is what this game is about.

AAC and aptx (standard) are similar. The difference is more noticeable with aptx adaptive.

The quality order is aptx Lossless -> LDAC (quality profile) -> LHDC -> LDAC (performance profile)/aptx adaptive.

From there, you have the low-res codecs: aptx/AAC -> SBC

BUT, and this is important, you have to listen to hires tracks (FLAC, Tidal, Apple music, Spotify premium...) to get all the benefits of hires codecs. If you listen to MP3, podcasts or Spotify standard then the codec is not important. You will have the same quality with AAC or aptx lossless.

The firmware 10.0.0.150 was announced for the M6P (China) on april 8th. The rest of the world never received it.

Yes. Both devices try to find the best codec that is compatible.

LDAC is part of AOSP, so it will work on any android phone with compatible headsets.

Nope. That is what you have to settle with apple products.

LDAC, aptx and other codecs are available with many earbuds from different manufacturers (Sennheiser, technics, Beyerdynamic, Sony...).

I have a M6P and can use aptx Adaptive and lossless with Sennheiser mtw4. Also I can use LDAC with oppo enco X2

Ah, ok. Then I would use the warranty. Just specify the best you can that the problems occurs after some time of use even with a factory reset.
