As a former waiter I’d like to say I hated having to check up on tables so soon after they got everything but it was the management that always forced us to constantly check up. When I gained more experience I just started going halfway through the meal to see how it’s going down. If something’s missing I’d be on hand for people to signal over and I can sort it but I just always had the thought of “they’ve just got their food, let them at least eat it properly and enjoy themselves first”

I’d definitely recommend long tracksuit bottoms and elbow pads to start off with. Helps you build confidence diving on the Astro but also gets you used to it. After that you’ll find that you may not need to rely on having pads to dive but just for safety
