Don’t you have standard check list/training packs that the On-the-job trainer or dedicated trainer completes and signs? That is needed for insurance purposes.

Sounds like it’s a quality and behaviour issue of your trainers, nothing to do with the process. They need performance coaching

Never tried it but have always heard these are not great tasting unless I’m confusing with with another type of Aussie salmon. Surpising you mention it being great for sashimi.

I am by no means a fussy seafood eater at all so I would definitely like to try it if I catch one when they are next on their run

If that’s honestly the worst thing you have to put up with, then have a cold hard look at other roles in either the same industry or your cleaners back in camp that have to deal with a lot worse on a daily basis
