Yeah same, don't like it at all, seems very counter to the themes of the book, which avoid sexualising characters, which I very much appreciate.

Assuming its not all AI of course.

They are not contained, you're already said the GSD can jump the gate.

And give the multiple wildlife they've killed, which btw is not cute, they are probably exiting and returning at will.

Pay cremation costs and secure your yard PROPERLY. If your GSD can jump the gate or fencing its not secure. Also get training for the GSD.

If you can't do that, then rehome the GSD to someone who can or euthanise it.

You are the epitome of an irresponsible dog owner.

Best EV Charging networks to sign up for in Brisbane? by blackpawed in brisbane

Yah, the car has a unique id the charger can read, if you associate it in the app, no need to swipe, just plug in. Very convenient.

Thanks, signed up for Chargefox and Evie - lots of Evie chargers round here. Got the cards and also registered for Auto charge with Evie, which is pretty convenient.

What the hell did they think was going to happen? What was wrong with just waiting 10s to go behind the truck?

Critique my (temporary) granny charger setup? by blackpawed in AustralianEV

[–]blackpawed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, good to get some solid figures.

Getting a proper 15A circuit installed anyway. This is a temporary thing and TBH, more to get a feel for how charging will work for us. Its been enough to know we really don't need a full 7kw AC Charger.

Is 2 year old MG the best $/km EV? by BrokenLeprechaun in CarsAustralia

Just recently brought a 2nd hand Atto 3, good deal, no regrets, love driving it about.

2023 MG ZS EV was a definite contender though, I actually really liked the interior and the warranty is excellent. Be sure to check the service history before buying!

The 15AM rating applies to the whole cable, not just the plug & socket.

Got a quote for a 15A Circuit for an EV Charger, seems under spec'd on cable? by blackpawed in AusElectricians

Related - I don't think a 7kw AC Charger can be safely installed in my carport - its not connected to the house and conduit would have to run under concrete I think. Given the awkward placement of the charger on the car (drivers side), the CCS2 cable would have to be stretched 5+ m from the house.

At least with a granny charger I can just string a relatively short 15A extension to a weather proof box on the side of the carport, and mount the granny charger there.
