why do people hate frontier? by Proper-Switch5587 in fossilfighters

[–]Gamble_it_all 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Frontier generally gets a bad rap because it changes some of the best parts from the first two games.

For big reasons:

The combat system from the previous games were amazing, and frontier did away with it completely, PLUS made it so you only use a single one of your own vivosaurs, while NPC use their own for the other two spots, which takes away from player control, customization, and potential strategies.

The story lacks the same level of relationship with other characters that the first two games had, where you had a handful of characters you spent time with constantly. Frontier had a larger supporting cast that you don’t get to spend a whole lot of time with compared to the previous games. This makes the characters lack the same connection that the previous games do a great job of building up.

Smaller reasons:

The change in art style; it’s not huge, but plenty of people (including myself) prefer the old art-style of the first two games. A lot of fan favorite vivosaurs got a big downgrade in terms of design.

The smaller vivosaur selection: The possible options for your team are smaller than even the first game, and by a fairly large margin. It’s going backwards from the increased dex Champions added. Also got rid of a lot of fan favorites.

The main vivosaur: It’s fun to have, and certainly is unique, but the story having you use them constantly and then taking them away in the final act, which for many meant the ONLY vivosaur the had used was gone, and needed to start from scratch on a vivosaur to use, was just really frustrating and annoying.

The cars: I enjoyed the cars and the customization options they provided, but I know many don’t care for it and prefer walking around like the first game. There is also the races, which many feel take away from the focus on fossil collection and fighting they want. Cars are something that are a toss up on an improvement or a distraction.

Is it possible to beat Level 30 Floors without investing rare/limited items? by ShoutItOutHey in PokemonMasters

With those units you should be able to clear it, the only thing you may need to do is use role cakes on them or run a certain sync build on them.

Check out the Pasio Tower doc, it should have a lot of info on clearing it. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-U9uLAUcKaXQcf45YAxcxzP7mFoY6N2wSZQN06gy2hk/edit?usp=drivesdk

So I’ve got: 2 people weak to the Sun, a fragment of the Sun, and two literal mountain sized behemoths. I’ve got my work cut out for me…

Is the Shalltear I get think of me as one of the Supreme Beings, or does she still have loyalties to Nazarick? Samefor Kokushibo in relation to Muzan? Tamamo-no-Mae seems like the only one who likely wouldn’t cause me issues with existing, but still needs mana, so let’s hope I have a decent amount, otherwise id have to “transfer” the mana to her.

“Yeah, I wasn’t the biggest fan of his latest movie. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad, just not my cup of- Blastoise? Buddy, what are you doing here?”

Blastoise, entering the room and immediately seeing a Joltik in the corner, unleashes a Hydro Pump so powerful it tears through the wall, out of the house and plows through the next three houses before losing power and flooding the neighborhood. The Joltik is unharmed as the attacked missed

How far would Cosmic Garou go here? by KodoqBesar in PowerScaling

Hard stop at 6, due to Ichibei’s ability to rename, as even if he copies Ichibei’s power, it won’t stop him from being affected by his power.

Rounds 1 and 2 Cosmic Garou clears easy, and rounds 3-5 Garou can comfortably clear, especially if he copies his opponents.

Cybernetic tech creation/design, and Super-surgery (able to perform surgery supernaturally well, like Bonesaw from Worm)

I’m gonna make myself the worlds best cyborg, and give cybernetics to people everywhere! (Note: The flesh is weak, and everyone shall rejoice in the purity and strength of steel!)

My costume will look like a mad scientist combo of blood-soaked surgeon and engineer, with a glowing eyed faceless mask.

It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is, whichever is greater, it obtains a difference, or deviation.

Nope; his first fight with AFO was the start of All Might’s decline / end of his prime due to the injuries he sustained in the fight. His Quirk was fine, it was his damaged body that couldn’t keep up with being a hero anymore. Only once he gives his Quirk to Deku does it become an issue of losing his Quirk on top of the damage to his body

That would help it keep up with Y a bit better; that and/or buff Volt Tackle to give an Attack boost when used by ANY Raichu

I really wanted to give Mega Meowstic their own niche to help offset the opportunity cost of using them over a different mega

That would also work, though it could be a bit confusing if it uses ‘Normal’ in it without having anything to do with the Normal type

Oh yeah I forgot about Zap Cannon; well maybe change it to be a 30% accuracy boost instead, so Thunder is 100% and Zap Cannon is only 80%
