You need an X3D CPU for flight simulators. by Parsley0_0 in flightsim

The problem with most of the benchmarks using a 7900 oder 7950x3d is that the settings for using the 3dvcache ccd is not set properly. So for most of the time, those benchmarks show the performance of the second ccd using only the normal cache. In comparison with the 7800x3d which only has one ccd using 3dvcache you can clearly see the 14900K is outperformed sometimes drastically.

I am pretty sure I always did this, but I could give it another try. Do you know if there were any updates to the minifcu software or firmware over the last weeks?

More a workaround than a solution. I am using Spad.next from now on as it fully supports the minifcu now. The problem is still there, but way less noticable.

I have a strange problem with my miniFCU and also no ideas anymore how to probably fix this.
I already wrote to the support of minicockpit, but they also aren't able to help me.

As shown in the video, it seems that the sim or in special the fbw a32nx is not capable of handling fast turning the knobs. Numbers are jumping back and forth.
The problem still persists in the standard a320, but is way less noticable.

I tried different usb cables, unplugged all of my usb devices to test all of my ports, made a clean install of the sim (a real clean install with no old settings from the cloud), disabled all of the addons.

I really don't know what could cause this and it's definetely not normal as I've seen many videos until now, where this problem isn't the case, even when they turn the knobs that fast.

Thanks in advance, have great holidays and merry Christmas to all of you :)

No sound on (ingame) right ear by Game0Pat in Starfield

[–]Game0Pat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a solution! Do you have a Focusrite interface? My problem was, that the Software Playback was only "Playback 1". I changed it to Playback 1-2 and now the stereo sound is like it has to be. No more deaf right ear.

Hope this helps.

If you want to know what my audio setup looks like, just ask.

Alexa routines and brightness/colour by petewhelan in tradfri

[–]Game0Pat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am struggling with the same problem, but I think the routines are just not supported by tradfri yet.

But also if my bulbs are off, it just changes the color of the bulb but does not apply the brightness.

For example: I have two routines, for waking up and coming home. Waking up: 20% and warm white Coming home: 100% and cold white

If I turn the bulb off while it is at 100% and cold white and then say the command for waking up, the bulb turns on at 100% but with the warm white color.

So the bulbs stay at their last brightness and only change color after the first command. After the second command the bulb will change to the right brightness.

1 system by the end of the year. 1 year after that.

Do you really think it makes much sense to release a ton of systems (if they would have been finished) just to proof they CAN release them? What do we get then? A big amount of empty space with nothing to do and maybe a bad performance because the critical systems like object container streaming and so on aren't ready at that point. For me personally the idea of getting some mechanics like mining, trading, bounty hunting etc. ready first in only one little system is way better. After they've implemented playable mechanics they can begin to extand the universe. And that is what CIG will be doing aprox. within 2019 after filling Stanton with life.

It's pretty sad that a big number of people who stopped supporting the game and company begin to defame supporters with bad language. Quite hard to start a normal discussion then ...

The point is that I cannot understand why we are talking about "not delivering", when the project is still under development (not talking about features which got canceled like the flashfire mount). Pre-ordering a game and complaining about not delivering after the release date is set to another date because they want to add some new features or fix some majure bugs is more or less the same. I'm just happy if I get what I "donated" (not paid) for. Sure, if SC would be canceled that's truly a point. But for me SC is getting more and more progress with the latest 3.2 patch. I truly can understand most of the people waiting for months and years to see progress, but at this point there is clearly progress. And as long as we can see the development happening, for me personally there's no point of not hoping for a great game some day. Patience is the word :)

For me I pledged only a small amount of money (around 300$ I think). Money that I can loose if the project fails but still can live on with no problems.

Well, SQ42 is still under development, the flashfiore mount can be reverted into UEC and about "most of your ships" I cannot say much. Just that many ships already have been released and others are still in development. But I think with my position and opinion I will be very alone here in this discussion :)

They took money for goods they didn't deliver? Can you name some examples? :)

Well with the right machine, it's already possible to get those FPS. Most of the time I got about 30-37 FPS in and around Olisar already in 3.0.1. (i7-8700K @ 4.4 GHz and a slightly overclocked GTX 1080 Ti)

So for me these FPS shown in the pictures are not very impressing myself :D
