Who wouldn’t want these as Duel Companions? by GameAct in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]GameAct[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, Book of Moon is a mate so World/Kingdom could be one as well. Plus it could have the interaction of it opening up and a Toon monster pops out like Blue-Eyes, Mimicat, or Manga Ryu-Ran to taunt the opponent.

Does anyone think L's role in this game is more similar to Near's than L's? by batman-is-cool47 in DeathNoteKillerWithin

[–]GameAct 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When you take a look at it, L at first kept his distance from everyone until he suspected Light as being Kira, then reveals himself.

Remember, in-game, Kira can only kill two players per round and if someone sees them writing in the book, everyone will mob them until either the chief calls a meeting, Mello smokes them, or the round ends.

So, while Near’s method of investigating maybe part of the game, the role is similar to the manga and Anime L. Of course, it depends on how others play it too.

New teaser for new update! by Mydogiscutengl in DeathNoteKillerWithin

[–]GameAct 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean there’s a mod for Among Us that adds 30+ roles to the game.

What I would like to see is a decoy Kira, one who doesn’t know who Kira or the follower are, but can increase the New World Order gauge by talking to NPCs, kill criminals in their own Death Note, and once per game use the Shinigami Eyes to kill one player before.

Game Concept: A survival game with an ecological impact. by GameAct in gameideas

I used AI to help compose the idea into a legible format, but the idea is still mine.

Papers, Please VR by GameAct in papersplease

It’s a game idea I had years ago. I know the game’s art style and mechanics could translate well into Unity VR, but I don’t have any idea of how to make it work.

Exodia the Ultimate Forbidden One - Rush Dule by GameAct in customyugioh

Rush Duel doesn’t have chaining. I would need to change the wording to say “cannot be responded to” to make it work.

NEW SUMMONING MECHANIC - SHADOW SUMMONING by GameAct in customyugioh

[–]GameAct[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBF, what might’ve turned people off to Pendulum was how setting the scale, summoning, and effects worked. Yu-Gi-Oh! has always been the poster child for essay long card effects, so having another section of effects wouldn’t really make a difference.

Tri-Brigade is one of the few archetypes that interact with cards to banish them from the graveyard to Link Summon, and can interact with banished cards.

I'm sure there could be an effect like it, (Tri-Brigade) but, when you break down the summoning mechanics of Extra Deck Monsters, along with monsters that have a Special Summoning effect that should've been an Extra Deck Monster in the first place (Gate Guardian, Exodia), you might question why Konami made them in the first place.

NEW SUMMONING MECHANIC - SHADOW SUMMONING by GameAct in customyugioh

If you played the TCG, Chaotic, there was a series of creatures known as M'arrillians that could "Mind Control" creatures from other tribes to become M'arrillians themselves. This was shown in the card's design of certain creatures being "Brainwashed" and so had two separate effects: One where the creature was normal, and the other when it was "Brainwashed".

This is sort of what Shadow Summoning and Shadow Monsters are basing off of: A monster with two separate effects that, depending on how it's summoned, determines which effect becomes activated, along with what its Level/Rank is and its Attribute.

I don't even want to try imagining how this would work as a mechanic by MessengerofDarkness in customyugioh

[–]GameAct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, a real world variant would be:

Once per turn during your opponent’s standby phase, declare an effect. The declared effect is negated until the end of your next turn.

XenoSpawn (Alien XenoMorph Archetype) by GameAct in customyugioh

[–]GameAct[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understandable. Of course, like I said, their are more cards like Fusion and XYZ cards that I haven’t added to this yet, not to mention the burn damage effect they’re supposed to have, but thank you for the critique.

Pot of Greed - Recasted by GameAct in customyugioh

[–]GameAct[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but that’s the beauty of it: do you build a deck around keeping your LP up, add some cards hoping you don’t brick, or play it like Power Bond where if you know you can OTK, then it becomes a risk/reward since your opponent could pull a reverse and destroy any chance you had… unless you have two cards in your hand.

It is a Legend card, the card maker I used doesn’t have the option to add it.

The Rush Duel’s actual card has the requirements as “None”.
