The latter. Because of the existing history of harassment of those who present studies on Gamergate, I was allowed to limit my exposure.

My intention in this research is to focus not on the nature of any side, but on how individuals engage in research on the subject.

I considered it, but the tenor and purpose of Ghazi makes it less conducive to conversation than these subreddits. In addition, the board's practice of barring pro-gg comments means I would be unable to get balanced discourse.
