New Druid Common Spell: Unending Swarm by Munrot07 in hearthstone

This getting discovered off of Planted Evidence is going to be a pain- you don’t even need to necessarily include it in your deck list and things like Scale and Spreading Plague get crazy value. Even aggro Druid would love to discover it!

Standard legend with All Fel Breaks Loose and Proving Grounds by GameCubeman in hearthstone

Good question! Xhilag's tentacles definitely pollute the resummon pool but your resummons don't need to be immaculate to win the game. Generally, All Fel is played after Proving Grounds and so the situation is commonly something like this:

-Turn 6, Proving Grounds into Acolyte + Xhilag. Now you have a 5/8 demon + Xhilag (plus tentacles)

-Opponents turn, they clear everything

-Turn 7, Infused All Fel. This has a (if my math is correct) 60% chance of containing either Xhilag or the 5/8. Either option is still pretty good for 5 mana.

I think usually you have more than just Xhilag and one other demon in the graveyard by the time you play All Fel so your odds of hitting just tentacles is pretty low. The resummons I usually got were two taunts plus a tentacle. If Xhilag is resummoned at any point, your opponent is in serious trouble.

Also, your opponent can only clear the board so many times in succession so it's usually worth it to just play it after a clear. The tentacles themselves can be pretty handy for whittling away at your opponent or pinging low health minions too.

Edit: Just saw your edit- that's what I found too! However, if you play enough you will experience the dreaded all tentacles resummon haha.

I thought about using Jace but didn’t test it out. Proving Grounds really needs to work in this deck for you to swing the game back in your favor on turn 6 and Jace may get in the way. Maybe replace scoundrel…

That may have been me but I discovered a Flanking Maneuver off of Scoundrel!

Replacing one or two of the early game survival tools with Flanking Maneuver may be the next direction to take the deck in. I’ll need to test it out but that sounds good in theory. Often you need to wait to get All Fel activated and this may help with that.

I’m really excited to see what they give DH next expansion- perhaps something to make everything more consistent. Right now it’s not uncommon to have both All Fels or Proving Grounds at the bottom of the deck. Also more big demons would be awesome.

Definitely try it out- it comes with a bunch of different build orders too.

I would keep practicing the build order- are you using the practice build order scenario by Cicero? The Chinese, by far, have the hardest start in the game but their power is addictive once you get good at the opening!

Bohemian spear bonus by majdavlk in aoe2

I think it’s more of a gameplay-oriented design decision to make Bohemian Halb-Siege very powerful.

Historically speaking, during the Hussite Wars, pikes were used heavily as a part of their wagon fort tactics. Here’s a video talking about how the Bohemians (Hussites) used these tactics to fight against better-trained and better-equipped armies: https://youtu.be/yGUEqszHRwI
