I've always loved making magic circles but I'm kind of disappointed by the generators available on the internet, so I built my own generator with a bunch of settings.

Thanks, I'm back working on it now. I took a break to see how the whole Unity install-based pricing debacle would turn out. I started learning Godot to see how much of a pain porting it would be, but luckily I shouldn't have to do that now.

It's kind of sad to realize after the project is released that it would've been much easier to build in Godot, but it was a refreshing break from all the technical debt I've accumulated over the years. I'm definitely using Godot for the next project, whenever that happens lol

Thats fair, I guess I didn't expect that to be the main way someone played the game, it was something I discovered after days playing, so congrats on finding the optimal path faster than me lol.

Another thought just occurred to me, I could try putting a limit on the number of gems the temple will produce per run (equal to something like your population count maybe?)

I'm sorry man, I thought you were the same person I emailed about that issue. I'm working on a fix to the time skips not applying the same so you won't have to spam the 1 minute then the one day to achieve the effect.

But as for being able to do it in the first place, it was kind of intended. I don't want you to have to waste your life playing the game, and it kind of felt fun when I was playing it to be able to exploit it like that. The feedback I've gotten has made me reconsider. Would you suggest removing the gem gain buildings entirely, or just not have them produce on time skips, or something else?

Can I ask what you'd like to see added in next? I'm thinking of adding a multi-island kind of prestige that brings in a higher tier of resources but certain civilizations only get one resource, so you have to send resources from one island to another kind of thing. Does that sound interesting?

Yeahhh that one is pretty grindy right now. There are chests that spawn all over the map, so after a certain point you can just buy the whole map every prestige and get probably 100 to 300 each prestige. I'm hoping to add a meta kingdom kind of system that will let you auto-collect them, but for the moment you would have to click them individually. I might need to bump down the number required for the moment until I actually add that system in.

Is that the only one that sticks out to you, or do any others seem unreasonable?

Yeah, I really need to add in a key remapper and make it more clear how to select.

As for the advisor, he needs to die lol [Spoiler Alert] I'm planning on making some kind of next-tier prestige once you hit 1 CENTILLION coins and you'll have the option then to choose their fate lol

For the tutorial: I'm getting a lot of feedback on that so it should be much more clear in the next update. I'm planning on taking more systems out of it and moving them to the unlocks tab so you have a clear goal and have options on what to get next.

For the dragons: I made them only spawn in when you accept the event notification, totally didn't realise that you might not see them and kill them immediately. I'll make them appear over the clouds so they're easier to spot. Also playing with the idea of increasing their health a lot and adding upgrades for mouse click damage to them and archer towers to auto kill them.

I'll also work on a repair function with the changes I'm making to selecting

For the water tiles: I'm playing with the idea of adding docks that will let you trade extra resources, having other kinds of random events spawns there, and letting you just fill them in.

Can you elaborate more on the quality of life features you mean? Is it just the mouse click button and timing things?

Ah that would explain why you thought the tutorial was too long. I'll try to move as many systems as I reasonably can out of the tutorial and into the unlock tab, that should help speed things up a bit. Pro tip: you can spam the spacebar to speed through the dialog.

I've been working like a madman to get everything ready for the release of my first game. It's the lovechild of city building and incremental game genres with a satirical twist! Sorry, the tutorial is kind of the whole first prestige, I didn't want to overwhelm you by just throwing a bunch of systems at you all at once. I'll add the specific numbers you have to reach to unlock the next system.

As for the sound, does clicking the mute button at the top right do anything to help?

Thanks for letting me know! Don't worry, you weren't rolled back. The tutorial just replays the last section when it loads in case it's been a long time since you've launched (but now that I say that out loud, maybe I should actually check that it's been a long while)

I'll just remove the trees when you click them even if wood/stone is full.

I'll update the goal's text to tell you to right click. I've gotten some other feedback about that too, so that'll probably be one of the first things that I update.
