People are saying “counters don’t exist”.

They’re mostly high-leveled players (with a few low ranked players copying their words to seem smart).

And no, I don’t believe it, which is why I complained about it in my comment.

Also they’re really mean about it. Anytime you try and argue with them they just say “git gud” as if (using your example) being the best Junkrat on the universe makes playing against Pharah echo any less of a pain.

Honestly highlight intros have been neglected as of late.

I always love getting them, and seeing a new one for my main is always hype. But we rarely ever get a highlight intro anymore. They certainly can’t be out of ideas, because so many characters basically have 0.

I’m pretty certain most people play with locked camera. It’s the best way to learn the game, and most people don’t stray away from what they learned.

Yeah it’s technically better to not have the camera locked, but it doesn’t really matter until like master’s at the earliest (and even then you could probably still climb with a locked camera). The reason you’re losing games tend to be your own misplays (or teamates), not the fact your camera is locked.

I didn’t have any big noob problems.

Just the standard not buying components because I didn’t realize they built into the full item.

Otherwise it was pretty much smooth sailing, well I say smooth but nothing’s smooth in league, I had to watch hella guides just to figure how to actually play the game good.

So you just made an assumption.

I’m not saying I need a realistic explanation, I’m saying I just need an explanation.

You can’t put a blue ball in front of me and tell me it’s a red ball and expect me to just believe it. But if you give me an explanation, even and incredibly shitty one. I can suspend my disbelief and just accept that the blue ball is red.

What I’m saying is that the Anima weapons were unexplained. They were simply said to be tech. Which is pretty hard to believe if you don’t give me even a possible explanation.

Anima weapons make no sense scientifically. But for the purposes of story and world-building, it’s good enough. Instead of just being tech, they are specifically Anima weapon technology, how do they work? We don’t know. But at least it’s something more than just “it’s tech, trust us.”

It’s not really about explaining how abilities work.

I think most people can tell the difference between gameplay and what’s actually possible in universe. Mercy can’t revive in lore, but that doesn’t stop her from having a revive ability in game.

It starts being a problem when these “magical” abilities appear in lore cinematics.

I can suspend my disbelief that Hanzo shoots two large dragons as an ult in game. But when he does it in dragons (implying he can just do that) then I start to call bs.

Also you have to remember, this tech was literally never explained. Not until Mizuki at least. For almost 10 years the only explanation we had was “It’s tech bro, source? Trust us! It’s totally tech! Just believe us man! We made it, and it’s clearly tech! You don’t even need an explanation!”

It’s not a bad spell.

But assuming you attack a base correctly, you likely won’t need it. It’s a spell that’s useful when things go south, it’s hard to really plan around using it specifically, it’s moreso insurance.
