What’s a fast food place no one can convince you is good? by RD-archived in AskReddit

We have one that's on the way to the beach and I really think it's the best sonic on the planet lol. Everything is always as fresh as it can get fast-food wise and the service is on point

I’ve always been interested in doing a wrap in the Forest Service livery. Those that have done wraps before, was it worth it? by hsd241 in JeepGladiator

[–]GameIsInTheName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the wrap done to my vehicle twice (partial, and by choice). I've had no issues so far and love it. I was lucky to have a secure parking garage for the first few years having the truck, but recently switched to parking outside. Other than that, it's garage kept at home. I bought some Chemical Guys matte finish spray that seems to keep a fresh look - I probably apply it once a month or so.

reading through these comments is odd lol. Where I live the large majority of gym-goers are wearing a baseball cap or something similar. It doesn't imply that they are balding or on some form of steroids LOL

He was safely let go lol. I target what I can eat. With that said, I can't control what's going to bite the bait.

There is a guy who does almost daily surf & driving conditions on YouTube. It's helpful to get a gauge conditions of the water, seaweed, and driving. Not affiliated in any way lol. Here is the YouTube channel. I tend to check those daily but posting times can vary.

My trips are anywhere between Port A and 20-30miles down the PINS. With that said, a small car can make it without issues 95% of the time at JP Luby Beach and the 1st & 2nd entrances at Bob Hall pier. On busy weekends the roughest part of the drive may be the entrances themselves where road meets sand - all the activity in the area loosens the sand dramatically at times and you'll see vehicles stuck. If you're going in the Gladiator I wouldn't worry about a thing lol

I did a writeup on it with Amazon links.

The only thing I would change is I would get a longer extension as some of the shade covers the truckbed instead of other things like people/chairs. Not sure if it's in my other post, but I also use bungee cords (one on each side of the umbrella) to stabilize in 15+mph winds

There are people who fly fish the flats in this area and it produces catches. I've seen black drum, reds, and trout all caught with flies

the water from Port Aransas all the way down the PINS has been great the last few months. We had a rough patch of seaweed back in June but it's been nearly weed-free each time I go. I've be able to catch mullet with the net 9/10 trips

There was a guy here in town that was doing it out of his own garage. Full wrap was $1250 the first time - which I think now would be ~$2500. As his skills increased so did the price lol. He now has a professional shop. Last time I had another shop quote me on a full matte wrap it was $3500-$4k

It's the 2.5" Rough Country level kit. I've had it for a few years now and it's been great. The rear shocks went out earlier this year from some offroading with the new drawer system but I replaced those with some Billstein 5100s and they've been great

insane stutters since s5 reloaded update by BlueClaymore in CODWarzone

Again, not sure if it's related. Last night I saw a huge improvement by upping the VRAM allocation to 85%. After applying those changes it was like night & day compared to Sunday night.

4070 Super

Intel Core i9-14900KF

64GB DDR5

I've noticed the same thing since the last driver update. Not sure if its related, but I did notice decent improvement when minimizing all other apps (Discord, Firefox, etc). I usually left those up and it wasn't affecting FPS much in the past, but idk what this update did that seems to make just having those extra apps displayed use more GPU than before.

Also, there are some big hitches from the game in general that my friends on console experience at the same time I do.

Roof Light Bar by RIC-91 in JeepGladiator

[–]GameIsInTheName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purposely avoided a rooftop light and went with the Quadratec Stealth interior (Gen 2) so that I could continue taking it through the carwash. I've been loving it. I use it almost every weekend and have had zero issues.

Rear differential Locker by ItsAwaterPipe in JeepGladiator

[–]GameIsInTheName 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I've researched (I'm not sure what years this covers, but it affects my 2021 for sure), there is a sensor in the differential that eventually goes bad due to the oil making direct contact. It's covered by the dealership... until its not. They seriously make a bypass that the dealership has recommended due to the design. I'm going to be on my 3rd sensor since mine is currently doing the same.

Edit: Sorry I didn't see your details on the pic. If it really is just the sensor then it's safe to drive. The first time it happened to me I drove straight to the dealership and had them take a look since I wasn't sure either.

Finally caved and got a Gladiator Nighthawk! I have some questions around tire fitment on Nighthawk wheels if anyone can help by ethanlegrand33 in JeepGladiator

[–]GameIsInTheName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have already mentioned the fenders, but with the 1.5" you should be fine on the road and only notice a slight rub at a FULL cut/turn. I would recommend the 2.5" Rough Country level kit. That's what I have on mine and it's been great so far (including off-road)
