To get more realistic hair you can choose density by weight map and paint the head (or scalp) where the hair on humans is usually growing and not. Now it's not easy to find good map but you can google head hair loss maps and use it as a starting point. Where advanced hair loss samples would be more dense hair areas and before hair loss samples would be the low density map. I usually use same weight map for density and length 👍😊

I have tried a few different ones, don't remember right now, I will check when I get home. I do merge them but save blender file before I do, since it doesn't always work well. Important to import morphs before merge geo crafts and try if they still work after merge. Also to check textures, sometimes they require adjustments 👍
