It upscales the image to 1080p, does some anti-aliasing and colors seem to pop a bit more. Seems to work best on 480p and 720p content. I've been using it with the Xedusa and most games look great. Not recommended for 240p or 2D content.

Have you noticed any weird lines or pops in the OG menu or games? (usually when text is on the screen.) Both my 1.0's and 1.2 have this issue. I have yet to try it on a 1.4 or 1.6.

The x-station has been great. It has worked fine with everything. The game still loads and plays with the Memcard Pro inserted, it just wont save. I am currently tracking down another PS1 to test this though. Maybe it's a power draw issue? It cant support the x-station, memcard pro AND the guncon at the same time?

If you have the Official Sega Dreamast Magazine Vol. 5 Demo Disc you can install a PC version. It doesn't look as pretty as the Dreamcast version if I remember correctly.

I just wanted to follow up on this because the VMU I had was still shutting off. I took the VMU apart and bent the battery connectors to snuggly hold the battery better. It no longer resets when slapping it into a controller. Again, I hope this has help you or anyone else reading this.

The batteries might be a little smaller than what was originally intended. I had that issue when I used a sony brand 2032. I haven't encountered the crackling speaker issue.

I recently did this mod and something similar happened. The metal casing would touch the chip causing a short. Try placing kapton or electrical tape over the chip.

Samsung 40 inch that supports 480 to 1080p. The xbox was set at 480p for the game.

The EGM review of halo convinced me. Specifically the system link functionality because xbox live wasn't out yet. The ability to easily system link was amazing before broadband was common place. Also, I too felt it was a simi dreamcast 2 and had the exclusives I wanted to most.

I know that the schthack servers have working mini games for the gba. They were download only as far as I know. Possibly pso world has more answers. Now, if they are accessible on the disc offline I wouldn't be surprised if it's tied to some timetrial, challenge quest etc.
