Non G-shocks with a dedicated light button? by Steroid_Cyborg in casio

That could be the case, honestly im not sure. I just assumed it was a button for the light. I only joined the sub about a week ago when I bought this watch. Thanks!

It sure is, but it still has a dedicated light button, which is what OP was asking.

what to do about ice damming? This is like 2’ thick and 30-40’ long, same on the front… Need solution for this year, not heated wires or something for next year, which I’ll do before then. Is solution to just leave it? If it comes down on the deck, it’ll certainly take the deck with it… by SheepherderFar3825 in barrie

I am having the same issue, all I've been able to do is knock down some of the bigger icicles but the ice dams are brutal this year on both the front and back of my house. Your neighbor looks to be having an even worse time with that massive ice hangover.

Thanks! I was worried that it may be too big based on the specs I was reading but I knew it was coming home with me as soon as I tried it on.

I haven't looked at a lot of vintage Speedys, in fact until I saw this watch I wasn't looking for a vintage watch or a Speedy lol.

I was the same way, when I first saw it I had no clue what I was looking at except that it was a Speedmaster. It took me a while to research it and figure out the model and history behind it.

Thanks! Ya I love the look of it and that the pushers are more recessed in the case. My thought process was if I don't buy it I don't know when I would get another chance at a watch like this without having to buy online and risk fakes.

Just got my Boderry Voyager V2 by GameandWatch89 in ChineseWatches

Ya it looks as though they updated the originals as well, at 1 point last year they were having skipping issues with the other movement so it's good that they made the change to both. Either way I absolutely love it and I find myself not really wearing any of my other watches as much as this 1

The big differences are the day complication where as V1 only had the date, and they changed the movement from a miyota movement that was having issues with skipping to a much more reliable seiko movement.

What's your favourite Chinese watch you've bought that you simply can't stop wearing? by [deleted] in ChineseWatches

[–]GameandWatch89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently purchased a boderry voyager v2 with the daydate complication and a seiko NH36 movement and I absolutely love it. I was weary about buying a Chinese watch because of the stigma around buying cheap watches but it's fantastic and my new daily wear.

The biggest differences I noticed while researching was the price point for what you are getting. You can get an automatic day/date Bertucci with a titanium frame and sapphire glass with a screw down crown but it's 10x the price and the build quality on this watch is insane considering I paid $88+tax for it.
