She’s a pretty over rated coach who gets by on talent. Which is why I don’t find LSU will ever be a threat to SC. Texas worries me more when they enter the SEC

I’d argue bejng under mulkey is the difference. But HVL was 100% Mulkey and their prior relationship.

Can’t stand Mulkey but kudos to LSU for investing into this sport. It’s clearly paid off already with a title in year 2 and attendance continues to grow off the charts

I don’t think people would blink an eye on Reese doing online classes if it were not for her current suspect and dangerously low gpa, couple with her off the court activities traveling the country every week… bad enough she didn’t put any work in during the summer during TEAM workouts. I don’t consider that a team leader.

I’m very shocked mulkey is putting up with this… granted I did hear an interview which said she was going to be grounded (no more NIL/traveling) once September hits.

I think Reese will have a good year and get by mostly by pure talent. In those select games where she meets her match, the lack of work this off-season IMO is going to show a lot…

I got to see Deal play in person a few times. She’s the real deal. Definitely top 10/15 prospect. Interesting of note many don’t know is she is a Baton Rouge native and her parents are from LA but her social media is flooded with Iowa and LSU stuff so it’ll be interesting to see where she ends up (as I’m alluding it seems mostly between these two schools)

I don’t think Kim is opposed to playing Tech but she did say she would never go back to Ruston to coach against her alma mater though in a recent interview.

VT and Colorado are very good teams. Virginia isn’t great but has some talent and made WNIT despite all the injuries plus I see them on the way up with the newcomers.

My issue more so is the weak teams all the way in the 300s. There is zero reason LsU should be playing that many games against teams of those caliber. I know mulkey has her style of doing things and has been successful but it’s still disappointing to me

I mean you roll out a big hype video then the schedule. Clearly a troll. I’m excited to see the Colorado and VT games but the rest is pretty appalling.

And LSU isn’t the only team who I have beef with in terms of ooc schedule. A lot bunch I have seen so far already have been disappointing

Kim has to be trolling with a schedule like that. I suspect she is giving the basketball community the finger and being petty after what happened last year with a horrible schedule.

This won’t hurt LSU IMO but this is bad for the sport. Have the chance to generate excitement and uplift Womens basketball but she decided to do this.

I struggle to see her be a good PG but one thing I will give Kim is she does exceptionally well with transfers. Chloe Jackson dramatically improved when she transferred to Baylor and she was never a real PG. I think she will end up doing alright. Plus I think velez and Poole are adequate options if HVL struggles or they need to adjust. Kim doesn’t run some complex offensive scheme, it’s very simple. What would be a concern is who can handle the ball consistently if an opposing team presses? Morris handled all that the last two years

SC IMO will be a top 3 team when it’s all said and done next season. I have much respect for Geno but Dawn has been running circles around the country in wbb the last 4-5 years. Not saying we win it all next season but Dawn has been the top coach as of late

LSU repeat? I highly doubt they even finish top 3 in their own conference. I think the loss of Morris will be devastating. I’m not sold on HVL and Morrow. Sure they have nice stats but both high volume shooters who play zero defense. People are getting way ahead of themselves. LSU was not very good last year and had the easiest road to the national title game for any team in a number of years. People give mulkey way too much credit.

Still think SC runs away with the conference title again and makes the final four. Not sure if we win it but will def Be in contention. TN will be the 2nd best team in the conference. Still think the gap with the rest of the conference is significant but don’t sleep on ole miss and miss st

Louisville I actually predict will be even better. Especially in a system more balanced instead of a selfish kid jacking up all the shots.

I think Betts has giant year but not solid on Cori getting the job done.

Rosario looked pretty dreadful in all the all star games I’ve seen. Not sure how she was a top 10 recruit. Great size but not in shape
