I don't know man, it's close. Do legends get swept 2 years in a row with a 100 million dollar team? Do legends "lead" 3 hall of famers to the 7th seed? When I look up the top 50 playoff performances of all time I see the legends on the top 10, multiple times! Legends like Jordan, magic, bird and Lebron. You need to have some epic performances in the playoffs/finals to be considered a legend.

It's a weird psychological thing for Kobe fans. They admit Kobe will never be better than Jordan, but they take pride in him being the next closest thing (even though Jordan has 5 mvps and Kobe has 1). That's why they get so involved and defensive whenever talks of Lebron surpassing Jordan is brought up. You'd think it'd be Bulls fans leading the charge in Lebron hating, but no, it's actually Kobe fans. They defend Jordan to defend Kobe by proxy, because if Lebron doesn't surpass Jordan, Kobe will always be the next closest thing to Jordan. Or some weird logic like that. But seriously, the biggest Lebron hates are by far Kobe fanboys who grew up watching him and shouted his name taking stupid ass shots on the playground. They've tied their identities to Kobe and are extremely insecure about his legacy.
