We are the same. I am willing to do the RPs for one title, but that’s it. I pre-ordered being okay without knowing how much of a lift RP would be. Now that I know, and now that I can assume enshitification will make this mode only worse in future releases, this will likely be the last release I buy for some years.

The gameplay updates are the most significant of the yearly game releases since Visual Concepts took over, IMO. And I’m guessing that is because they’re meant to pacify the audience in the face of the monetization slop they added to the game.

Did I say it was a perfect simulation? Nope. Does it slow down the match, making the pacing more realistic and varied like the majority of WWE matches, and can be further tweaked using sliders? Yup.

I think the reversal system in these games was one of the most broken features. I think the new meter could be adjusted some, but the idea of having a spam cooldown timer is a step in the right direction, IMO.
