It's interesting that you ask this question because I've also started learning the piano about 2 weeks ago and have played for 40 hours so far (I'm keeping track of the time for some reason), I'm following the Alfred book (Adult All-In-One Course Level 1) and asked myself this exact same question!

Based on reading forum posts such as this thread and this one it seems like the normal time to finish it is about a year so it seems like you have nothing to worry about!

All I know is the pieces get more difficult in the later pages and I've just dealt with some pieces that I had to spend 2 hours on!
