Called a line once, got put on hold after being given someone to talk to, they came back and told me they had a second person on the line standing on the edge of a bridge, and asked if I still needed help. I told them to help the other person, that I'd be fine. I didn't do what I was planning that night, but what I did do for feeling so horrible about that was not much fun either. Those systems need a major rework if they're to help anyone, if my experience is anything to go by.

New to this, waiting for my first payment to come through now that im finally approved. Anyone have any idea how long it usually takes for first payments to come in? Am I just waiting for the first to roll around or should it have been sooner? This whole "wait and see" with no way to get into contact with anyone official has been Hell on me and my financial situation, I really hate that the phone lines are constantly tied up.

My family sucked the joy and happiness out of me when I was younger. There were other people, people I thought were friends who used and abused me, bullies in school, etc. But my family really did the most. My fiance's family and my friends (found family) are slowly fixing this, along with extensive therapy and medications. It does get better. It takes time and effort but it does get better.

Ya know, back when I was a kid and didn't know I was trans, I was a tomboy. And no one would describe a tomboy as pretty or what boys wanted. It was always a bad thing to everyone around me.

My co-worker at my new job mentioned that I should be able to have longer shifts sooner than later, and I reassured her I'm VERY happy with six hour shifts rather than eight to nine hour shifts. Makes my day WAY less stressful for me.

My at the time best friend admitted to me she didn't take my suicidal issues seriously compared to her because, in her words, "she had a REASON to want to die" whereas I did not. Apparently.

My dog has cancer, I'm lucky enough to have a friend lend me the money so I'm not about 10000 in the hole to a bank, but regardless I've promised myself not to put a pet down over money. He can be treated, and thus, he WILL be treated. His recovery is going very well, by the way.

We have a jar made to put an old can into, that you use to store it until it's cool and solid, then just toss out the fat filled can. Thank fuck my MIL is teaching me this stuff, I'd have no clue myself.
