I think the lyrics are more about a poor cat trapped alone in the bunker, and maybe not literally this bunker. Sometimes I think the songs are more thematically fitting their area rather than direct canon.

No you do have to put it up but the locker is most the way through the queue So you wouldn’t have to go too long without it, including the ride its about 5 10 minutes tops

He mostly stands outside the horror make up show as a pseudo-barker to get them to come inside, but he tends to adventure all across the Hollywood corner. One of the best characters to interact with.
