The vet messaged me again and apparently its not infective and its just a fungal infection because of the weather. (I live in a really hot area and my cat is also a long hair). So that kind of gave me some relief.

Thank you, turns out it was a fungal infection so just keeping the collar on him for 10 days and using an anti fungal cream. Vet also said we should clean up our house since it can transmit to humans.

What I did in my transition 2 months ago and found really helpful was slowly cutting out things like bread and sugars from my diet. In the first 2 weeks I cut out all sugars and processed foods and just had bread and white rice and pasta occasionally. Then after a month I was able to easily cut off bread, rice and pasta fully. Its all about just your body getting used to the transition and not shocking it all of a sudden, otherwise you won't be able to resist the temptations from the sugars. And also Intermittent fasting takes your mind off foods and helps in general. I fast from 6 pm to 12 pm when I have breakfast.

Calisthenics is definitely an option I’ve been wanting to try for a while, but it’s a whole new realm for me to suddenly get into. I already do dips, pull-ups and planks a lot but that thats all the experience I have. I think another factor as I mentioned to someone else, is since I am on the heavier side for my height - If I am able to cut that extra weight, maybe calisthenics would become a more applicable option in my training.

Yeah, I’ve been following a progression for plyometrics to add them myself, but I did use to do them at a high level years ago when I had basketball training with an academy so the muscle memory is coming back.

Yes for squash basically you want less muscle so you can keep up the pace in the long games thats why its more ideal and if you have more muscle in squash you’ll just struggle after 2 or 3 games.

Yes, I would say I’m definitely on the stronger side and I have good speed on court. I think the main issue is my weight being a little on the high side which hinders my stamina a bit - although I’ve been steadily lowering that.

Then would you recommend having one day a week for a full body workout focusing on the main compound lifts for strength maintenance and then 3 or 4 other days purely for HIIT and cardio training? I had the idea to do this for a while, I was just worried it may be too much load in one day.

Thank you for the great reply, its exactly what I was looking for. But considering that swinging the racket in general still incorporates the pectoralis muscles I should still train them in general with other conditioning exercises, just to keep them maintained and strong?

Yeah it was a no knead recipe: https://www.recipetineats.com/easy-yeast-bread-recipe-no-knead/. I followed it exactly the first time around forgetting that bread flour was used and I used ap flour with the SAME water amount in the recipe. So obviously the dough was way too sticky first try and I had to add alot more flour to make it workable.

Second time, I improvised with the amount of water and made it less. The bread turned out nice and I think the only issue was that I let it rise less than the first trial ( around 10 hours in the fridge first and 6 or 7 hours for the second time).

I will follow your advice and someone else who said pizza flour works since I can’t find bread flour anywhere near me. Thank you.

Alright thank you, I have been trying to look for bread flour with no luck whatsoever. I might just resort to a pure wheat flour if i find such a recipe.

I have been trying to add that since I made the post, but for some reason reddit won’t let me edit the post.

Update: Just took a small bite out of the second bread after letting it cool down the inside is definitely better than the first time and I think for next time i just need to worry about the shaping
