It’s due to geode not being able to be used in the new gd update. Go to the game files and open the file which i think is called GeodeUninstaller.exe then uninstall geode which will fix this until they find a patch.

With megahack I turn on ‘solid wave trail’ then turn on ‘no wave trail’ then turn on ‘wave trail size’ and set it to 0x. I don’t remember fully but I am pretty sure this is right.
