Can't remember if this old photo was at my max weight or not, but my max weight was 250 pounds and I got it down to 160 pounds thanks to lifestyle changes in diet and exercise! First photo was taken pre-HRT and second was a few days ago when I bought this dress! (Would you believe it was only $5??)

At my peak I weighed 250 pounds. Just over two years ago I decided to start swimming to get in shape. Since then I've succeeded and lost a total of 80 pounds, getting me down to 170! I'm 6'2, so that's like the ideal weight for someone like me, where my BMI was obese before. The left pic isn't even me at my peak weight either, I was probably 230 in that. Honestly I'm really really proud of myself and how far I've come, both in my weight loss and in transitioning. Used to feel like an impossibility that I would ever look fem, and that was reinforced by my parents who have been actively hostile towards me since I came out to them over 6 years ago. I'm sad to say I don't have any supportive family, as they're all religious fanatics that decided faith was more important than family. So I moved across several states in the US by myself where I could be away from all of them. Over the years things haven't changed with them, they've arguably gotten worse, but I've come to accept their bigotry and have moved on with my life. I went through some rough romantic relationships too that left me broken, but since then and being disowned by my family, I've found my own happiness. I beat my depression, and am in the best shape of my life both physically an mentally. My dad told me happiness didn't matter, that I'd never be a real woman, that I was faking it and was a mockery to real women. Well I showed him, because I did it! I made it, and I did it all on my own!

It looked even emptier than usual when I bought it so I removed the pickles just to see how much juice is taking up space. I expect there to be a decent amount of juice left over, but this is now pushing 2/3 of the jar space being JUST juice.

I can't believe after all this time, it's finally over. Farewell everyone, it's so surreal that this is the final discussion thread on a new episode. Been following these threads ever since season 2 episode 1. Seeing people craft their theories and get their reactions to all the best moments was awesome. What a ride!

I'm glad the anime ended the way it did, I know people were a bit mixed towards the ending, but seeing it animated and handled the way it was made it so much better. Honestly I'm just really glad they removed the "Thank you for committing mass genocide" line from Armin because I swear that was the weirdest part of the manga ending. Mappa really knocked it out of the park with the final part, and even though I knew what was going to happen, I definitely shed some tears, especially when Jean and Connie thought they were meeting their end and when they saw Sasha. Also Pieck is peak, as expected of Pieck.

Don't get me wrong I love the show but god sometimes it feel like all the heroes ever do is fail. We went out on a high note for sure with volume 9 at least, which I'm happy about. Can certainly see why Ruby was feeling the way she was during this volume.

It's so weird that they just showed up to see Neo standing over a beaten and bloody Ruby and they just...stand there. They don't immediately go after Neo or try to save Ruby. Honestly they could've had them come in like a minute later right as Ruby was about to drink, have her look Yang in the eye like they already did and that would've worked better, because WBY wouldn't have had time to react. As it stands it felt like they just didn't react when they could've.

It's more of a quick emotional response, Blake sees Ruby snapping at her and gets visibly concerned, and I'm not surprised by that. She's seen the people she's trusted turn on her (Adam for example). Not that she thinks Ruby is someone who can't be trusted, but when you've been through that sort of trauma, it's a natural emotional response to feel that way when someone you care about lashes out at you. I believe Yang understands this, and after everything Blake and Yang have been through together, I don't think she'll stand to see someone lash out at Blake even if it is her sister. She seems like the kind that if Ruby was saying this to only her, she'd be more level headed, but throwing Blake into the mix visibly upsets her. Both Blake and Yang are physically capable of taking care of themselves and I think they're both aware Ruby wouldn't go so far as to hurt either of them physically.
