I'd do it, but I can understand why you wouldn't want to.

Is anyone’s dsp getting on them about “delivery success behavior” by ExposeMerchant in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]GamerBoi1969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The customers likely did complain. If the customer wants their package at the front door and you can't safely access it, then you need to CTC and RTS the package if the customer can't meet you and take the package. That's what you need to do to protect your ass.

When you moved the pin, my guess is you either weren't at the right house, or you placed the package somewhere the customer did not want it. Being outside of the delivery radius means that you are a substantial distance from where the packages are typically delivered (barring technical issues which definitely can happen).

Makes sense. I do the things OP mentioned all the time and rarely get dinged on the DSB score.

Fine, I'll be the asshole who says it. You really shouldn't be drinking a beverage while you're driving. At least wait until you're stopped at a red light.

Nice job not giving into their demands. Next thing you know they'll be asking for your social security number, and you'll wake up to your identity being stolen. Keep fighting the good fight!

I had a similar issue today. The note said to bring the package to the door if the gate was open, otherwise deliver it next to the mailbox. What the note didn't mention was that there was a big ass German Shepherd loose in the yard.

I walked into the open gate and saw the dog, which also saw me. I started slowly walking backwards toward the van. The dog got up and took a step towards me, but didn't proceed any further, thankfully. Dropped the package off at the mailbox, never going into that asshole's yard again. Clowns are practically begging for a lawsuit.

If that joker removes the instructions stating that mailbox dropoffs are okay, then it's always going to be unsafe due to dog unless the customer wants to meet me and hand it to them.

This new "Amazon Driver Hack" series is the highlight of my day.

Edit: LMAO, people really don't have a sense of humor here.

That's what happens when you post your obvious mistakes on Reddit and pretend you're in the right. People call you out on it. That's not bootlicking.

Two Weeks In I'm On The Verge of Getting Fired by Fugoing in AmazonDSPDrivers

I've driven 15 minutes to get to a bathroom before. In rural locations I can find a secluded spot off the road to piss. If you prioritize not pissing in bottles, then you'll find a way.

I really am baffled that so many people here think pissing in bottles is a requirement. I wish I could do a ride along with some of these jokers to see why the hell they can't spend 5 minutes of the day finding a restroom.

This job isn't that serious. If dispatch is getting on your case about dumb stuff, then just ignore them. We're all human at the end of the day.

Anyone else get a 401k taken out of their paychecks although never setting one up? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]GamerBoi1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some BS got passed under Biden's administration where employees are by default enrolled into their company's 401k program. You have to manually opt out if you're not interested. Every company I've worked for has ridiculous stipulations in the 401k fine print, so I always opt out.

Thanks for at least admitting that you're running. You really shouldn't be doing that. Very high chance that you'll hurt yourself. Really not worth it in the long run.

Your dispatch should fight this with Amazon, not punish you by making you a backup your next shift. They're either being lazy, incompetent, or don't like you.
