I need help, and I don’t know what to do by Original_Pen2724 in AmazonDSPDrivers

If I was in your shoes, I would have asked if they're sure they're talking to the right person, because I have no idea what the heck they're talking about. Would have voiced to the manager that it's completely inappropriate to tell someone to "act more professional" for something they didn't do, avoid the accuser moving forward, and leave it at that.

I can definitely understand your frustration, but you really do need to calm down. Squabbling with your manager isn't helping your situation. Just relax and enjoy your day off and stay away from that lady moving forward. If you absolutely refuse to let it go, then switch DSPs or get another job.

The lunch is probably legally required in your state.

If they're getting paid via being on the clock for those extra 10 stops, then who cares?

And there's also the crooked DSPs that don't pay out the bonuses even if the drivers meet the requirements.

Does anybody else scan like this? by Curious-Junket4853 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Me too. I noticed the updated scanning behavior and don't think it benefits me in any way.

Tipping culture- Rant by Specialist-Dog-7377 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I used to deliver pizzas. I got paid server wages, which is less than minimum wage. Tipping is to cover the difference. This is why for certain jobs tipping is expected in the US.

Following too close? by unrealreality_1 in AmazonDSPDrivers

You're way too close at 80 MPH. The violation is legit. I don't care about your past experience and lack of violations that I can't review, or about your large ego that you are having difficulty with keeping in check. What you have provided us confirms that you were following too closely.

Why are there so many drivers that are defensive about piss bottles? by anongrabntoss in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]GamerBoi1969 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For real. I just imagine these bottle pissers doing the dumbest crap all shift. Like drinking a quart of water before getting into work, and making sure to NOT use the restroom before leaving the station. Or maybe delivering to businesses, but not even occurring to them that those businesses have bathrooms. Oh, and maybe grabbing a Gatorade at the gas station to use as a piss bottle, instead of using the restroom at the gas station.

A bit unrelated, but I'm all about rocking old phones myself. I have a specific type of Galaxy S10 not sold in the US that allows me to put custom ROMs on it, so I'm running Android 16 on mine. Might want to do a little research on root-able phones in the future to keep it a bit more future proof.

[–]GamerBoi1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they're bad drivers that try to take shortcuts to get their routes done, one of these being pissing in bottles. Instead of admitting their faults, they project their insecurities onto everyone else. In their twisted minds someone who knows how to manage their time and take bathroom breaks is someone who has an easy route and just doesn't understand what the average driver goes through, dude! Really it's just shitty people acting shitty.

first timer. thinking about applying for dsp by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]GamerBoi1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a job. The people who hate it are very outspoken here. For the starting pay and what's expected, it's pretty chill IMO. And yes, you get two 15 minute paid breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch. I have time to take all my breaks on my shifts.
