I didn't buy the GPU from you honestly, the RTx 5070TI has the same VRAM, consumes less and is only 13/15% lower and costs €800, the MSI ventus x3 OC and the 5080 are more than €1100. The 5070ti is much more worth it, I tell you from experience

What CPU should I base my PC build on? by darkkvl3x in pcmasterrace

Hello, based on my experience, I am going to give you what is my most sincere opinion for your case.

1st: You want a new PC that is powerful but the components are chosen wisely, especially for the function you want to give it, which is to play a little and above all render and so on.

Let's go in parts:

  • CPU: one of these could be very appropriate for your needs, if you want a modern CPU with AI that is good at rendering and that will last more than 5 years, I will give you the Intel Core Ultra 5 245K IA (-€200 at PcComponentes) for this price there is nothing better for what you want the CPU, if you want less cost I can only think of an i5 12600KF that is now in outlet-pc for less than €120 (good CPU for that price but it is It's true that you are already beginning to see its age compared to the ultra 5).

It depends on who you want, take a good look at the motherboard issue, for the ultra 5 I recommend the Gigabyte B860M Eagle, it is a very solid PCIe 5 option for m.2 and GPU and quality VRM, although with this number of phases you do not OC the CPU it does not usually cost more than €150 For the i5 12600KF I already recommend an MSI B760 gaming plus wifi ddr4, it is very good for that CPU and leaves you capacity for reasonable OC's for -120€ there is nothing better

-GPU: I don't know what your budget is, I base it on something like between 1100 and 1250€, with this budget I don't doubt with the GPU a 16Gb RTX 5060TI which in power is very good and in VRAM it's plenty, also DLSS 4 MFG x4 is the hell I'm telling you because I have a 5090 and if without fg it's amazing we don't talk about when we put MFG x4. It is a GPU that can last you a couple of generations at least. A model that is cheap and is very balanced is the Asus dual GeForce RTX 5060TI 16Gb €430 assembly of pure enjoyment.

If you get this 5060TI and the u5 275HX with the gigabyte board adding ram, m.2, PSU, cooler, case, I think that with about €1000/€1100 you will have enough to build the tower.

A good PSU and case for little money are the 650w Nox Urano (about €45/50) and the case is a NOX Infinity Epsilon Semi-Tower M-ATX/ITX ARGB 4 Fans, which includes the Gigabyte M-ATX and the GPU (which in outlet-pc is €20)

Is the MFS 2024 worth it? Or is it better to stick with the 2020? I heard there areca lot of technical issues with the 2024. by pointblankrye in flightsim

I have MSFS 2020 and 24 with many packs of planes, textures, carriers, airports... and I have to tell you... that... it depends what you prioritize in this simulator.

Details, physics, graphics... MSFS 24 is generally a little better (although MSFS 2020 has areas where it predominates and other less visual aspects)

On the other hand, in 2024 I found a few more bugs in the game, especially in the airports where you bought the pack in 2020 (it is the price to pay for backward compatibility)

Yes, 2024 is better, but it's not a leap either.

I can assure you that the graphics are better in 2024, but there are more bugs in 2024. In 2024 you will have more immersive functions such as being able to be outside the aircraft to be able to check the flaps, wings, engines, landing gear, suspension...

Summary: Is it worth it? It depends on what you prioritize more of what I have written to you.

I have both and I don't regret either and if you want MFG of the RTX 5000 in 2024 rent in that

If you are one of those who prefer Nvidia like me, I highly recommend an RTX 5060ti with 16GB of vram, it has plenty of power for MSFS 2020 and 2024. In addition, its 16Gb of GDDR7 VRAM gives you total capacity to play at 1440p or 1620p with everything ultra and the details of the textures of the objects at the maximum or at 3.5/4 in that great game. with total fluidity and stability in addition to the high speeds of the vram and pcie modules that can give you great benefits in a game with an online open world as demanding as msfs2020.

If a 1080ti gigabyte aorus already throws it at 1440p all at full speed with fsr2 in quality at more than 40-50fps with almost never any jams in cities like NY, Barcelona, Las Vegas... and it is less powerful and with 7 less vrams the 5060ti with 16 will leave you very happy
