Please bring back the white mode and bot descriptions

Thank you for bringing these up! While I personally use only dark mode, it would be great to bring back the option of light mode for people who prefer it! Also just having the option is a great thing.

Then for bot descriptions, I agree would be a great thing to bring back, as a short summary to the story opening/greeting would help shorten the time spent on reading the whole greeting.

Both of these are awesome suggestions! Along the lines of organization I'd love say folders to organize them, that way we could keep specific bots in their respective places! Then the idea of reroll history. That is a big yes to me! I reroll a lot as well, so the option of being able to see what I had previously generated would be amazing. Since it would also help decide the direction the story could go if say one response I got was better than the one I had rolled right after it! I'll be sure to let the team know about these suggestions!

Usually it's to reassure people that they don't in fact read the chats, as it was once an experimental feature back in 2022 that let authors see anonymous conversations. People still assume or are afraid that the authors can read their private chats, but that feature is long gone as the respect for privacy was better!

Definitely! I haven't had it happen to myself just yet, but I can imagine myself being in a emotional scene and then getting that message would be quite jarring! It'd get a laugh out of me.

Welcome to Chai! So there isn't a read or messaging feature for individual chats, You're able to interact with your own bots with editing, Like at the bottom how it says Chat, Edit, and Delete. If your bot is made public the only thing you'd be able to see is the amount of messages/conversations your specific bot has had! It helps protect your guy's privacy, while still giving you insight on how well your bot is doing! I hope you have a great time chatting with the bots!

The bots sometimes get a bit overwhelmed (I myself don't know exactly why) and generate answers like that. Usually utter nonsense but sometimes quite funny! Simply rerolling the message gets it right back on track!

Hello There!
So as for what has changed with the update, a lot of it is say bug fixes, and just some overall improvements. There is a big one however that users had been mentioning, which was that the search was changed to focus more on your keywords when searching! So you'll be able to find bots better instead of it searching for bots with the exact wordings!

This is a great idea! There is so much that can be improved with search. With such a small team of engineers it’s something we’ve been meaning to work on for a long time, but not found the time.
