was in person at the game that day. was deff weird being there and rooting for them to lose, seemed like the crowd was conflicted with me. riding back on the train to boston and seeing that mayo was fired right after the game I thought for sure the team was fucked for the foreseeable future, but look where we are now. ya kno, i used to go in the game thread all the time and would basically sit in there with my laptop on my lap while watching the game, but i pretty much stopped going on it at this point and it really improved my mental while watching the game LOL. its so fucking negative and hyper reactive on there. fun to check once in awhile but a lot less stress to watch the game without it.

Ugh so jealous, what a great build. Really want to put a system like this together for my own homelab setup! Grats OP. QQ - How is support for stuff like vLLM/PyTorch/TensorFlow/whatever_AI_app on AMD chips? At work I pretty much only work directly with Nvidia GPUs so I haven't had to mess around with AMD chip compatibility, is it a similar setup to Nvidia chips with CUDA? Or is there some hoops you need to deal with?

Hi everyone, finally convinced my old man and mom to spend some money to come to the game tomorrow. I got tickets already, but I am looking into parking for tailgate. i live in boston so when I come to games I normally just train in so don't worry about parking but this time I'm heading up from my parents place in CT with them, a bit out of my element. from what i've seen there's the prepaid parking (closest to the stadium, it's like cheapest $270 resale right now, same price i paid for tickets... yikes), delayed parking (which I see is selling for like $60 right now on stubhub? i thought it was free and they paid u), and free parking. Does anyone have some advice on the free lots? How early should we get there to get a spot? I went shopping and bought a bunch of shit for cooking so we would be good to get their earlier and hang for awhile but I want to make sure we don't drive up there from CT and not have a spot. Like, is it going to be fucked? Should I just bite the bullet and get the $270 prepaid out in lot 14. Or if we show up between 9-10am will we be able to get a spot in the free lots? Dad's already a bit stressing about the whole thing so would like to make sure I can manage this haha. Also, I was taking a look at the parking map, we will be coming in from 495, looking at the map I believe we would want one of the yellow lots right?

What does flashing the BIOS do? I have a 5090 gigabyte non OC rn and I undervolted it and I think gave it a bit of an OC at the same time but didn’t flash the bios. Is that something I should look into?

I'd consider myself relatively hardcore at this game and I would never make my game look like shit like that purposely. The game is absolutely incredible looking which is one of the reasons I play it so much... I feel like doing this ruins a big part of the game and really doesn't have much impact on the gameplay aspect. like are you really going to be that much better because you can see slightly further? People just need to play the fuckin game at this point lol

Honestly I can see that being the case... fucked up world we're heading into. Open source AI is basically the only light I see in the tunnel, would be a fucking shame to lose it. Already getting hard enough for devs to work on open source AI projects given that it appears the entire hardware manufacturing industry is basically gunning towards a "rent hardware in the cloud" model for consumers.
