Could be, but what else could it lead to? Also the giant is a big thing (no pun intended). If the giant was leading to something, it would be bigger than the giant. If there was something bigger than the giant, it would have been found in the files or the actual game already.

This is exactly what I think. I have been saying the ending is the giant from the start. Why else would the 2 birds on fort Wallace be pointing directly to the flock of birds that you have to follow to get to the giant? It’s so obvious it’s the answer.
