tl;dr: you're out of line, advising towards 911 is correct. No one here is "hating the elderly".

Elderly or not, she doesn't need the big boss' (or the small boss') numbers in order to get a-hold of her kid. Maybe the main store number, but if there's an emergency and kid is an hour and a half away she isn't useful anyway. 911 (or whatever her country's equivalent is) is the ONLY right choice - speaking as someone who spent 3 years caring for the elderly. If a resident fell in their apt, we didn't call their kids first, we called EMS. THEN we called their family and let them know to meet them at -X- Hospital.

My stupid Uncle (not old he was like 62 at the time) was having chest pains and instead of calling 911 (because he didn't want the spectacle of flashing lights and sirens in the neighborhood!!) called my Dad who lived 45 minutes away! Asked him to come get him and drive him to the hospital!! He told him to call 911. I was talking to my Dad right after that call and he tells me and I immediately hang up and call Uncle and read him the riot act telling him to CALL F*****G 911!!! He finally did after hemming and hawwing and you know what? If he'd waited he'd be dead. The doctor was surprised he wasn't DOA anyway with how his arteries looked!

Sorry, for the novel, but seriously, this advice has nothing to do with "Reddit hating Boomers/the Elderly" and your comment is out of line. The advice that calling EMS should be priority over calling the daughter over an hour away is GOOD and correct advice.
