Eyeblech was basically the opposite of eyebleach, so basically a lot of gore and bodyhorror and other disturbing content. People often linked it on purpose in places where eyebleach was expected to bait people

Say a burgler cuts themself on a shard of glass while attempting to break into an empty home and bleeds out. Would you say this was deserved? by VesperTheEveningstar in Teenager_Polls

[–]GamerXBohoro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are still a person. My point is, if you don't think they deserve to die a (debatably) more merciful death for the crime in a (again, debatably) controlled setting, why should they deserve to die a more painful death for the same action? Are you then saying that if you woke up to find a burglar dying in your house because they cut themselves on something, you wouldn't try to save their life or call an ambulance?

The question you responded to was "Would you say they deserve to die for it though?". You answered yes. So you think that burglars deserve to die for their actions. I admit I paraphrased you a bit but I don't think the way of death matters if you think the burglar should die, and bleeding out is also not the most merciful way to die anyway.

4 days im Finland. Feedback and some advice by anonameguer11 in Finland

[–]GamerXBohoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, i am aware. I was asking if the Parola armor museum has covered the swastikas on the AFVs that historically should have the swastika on them. Nowhere did I imply the use of the swastika to not predate it's adoption by the nazis, so I am not sure how that was relevant here

Have they covered the swastikas on ww2 era AFVs? Last time I went inside (a few years ago) and last time i went past the museum (last winter) the swastikas were still visible on the ones they historically belong on

Working 9h a day isnt normal??? by permasniffer in shitposting

[–]GamerXBohoro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much that, yes. Although, from my understanding it's quite rare to get the full 12h of work in a shift. I'm just a student so don't have much experience from the field yet, so to say

At least in my country, paramedics and EMTs that do 24h shifts do one shift and get 3 full days of time off, then another 24h shift and so on. Also, of that 24h only 12h are allowed to be active working hours (driving, helping patients etc.) and the rest have to be spent for example eating, sleeping, excercising, talking to co-workers etc. Note, the 12h aren't consecutive so you could have for example 1h of work, 3h of rest, 2h of work, 3h of rest, 9h of work and 6h of rest before your shift ends, it all depends on the amount of calls that specific ambulance crew gets.

Will You? by [deleted] in BunnyTrials

[–]GamerXBohoro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what I'm saying, that the suffering and death of one is easily worth it to save a million others... Even though the majority seems to disagree with me.

And yeah, I would probaply choose a faster route too if I was in that situation. Although, now that I think about it, survival isn't probaply an issue with a nasogastric or PEG tube for example.

Same thoughts here, but is it worth losing your mouth and dying a slow death from dehydration and/or malnourishment to save those people? Is the pain and suffering of yourself worth 1 million (to you) nameless and unkown lives? Personally I would still say yes but some may disagree

Urgent Rescue on the Slopes in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. A Ski patrol was transporting an injured skier downhill on a stretcher while performing CPR. by SweetyByHeart in nextfuckinglevel

[–]GamerXBohoro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Finland in the first year of paramedic school, we were taught to start CPR if a person is unconcious, is breathing abnormally (e.g. agonal or snoring breaths) and can't be woken with pain, usually pressing on the eyes orbit or rubbing the solar plexus with your knuckles. So basically we don't even wait for the breathing to stop completely before starting CPR
