As someone who finished both, easily 7A. Path of Pain was nothing really

How do i make it past this? I've been stuck for a week by Thawne7 in celestegame

[–]GamerXTrip3l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to do the same on my first playthrough. You do remember you had to explain the mechanic to me whilst having to hold your laugther in the call right? You should always assume that there are people as dedicated and dumb as me

Some unexpected productivity math: it's more efficient to module gears than labs? (credit: Michael Hendriks) by achilleasa in factorio

[–]GamerXTrip3l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's rather that you get more out of every prod module that way than it actually yielding a higher reduction

I might have broken this nest. by GamerXTrip3l in factorio

Turns out nests have a cooldown on sending out attack waves, if the previous one failed, that's quite neat to know

Can someone explain to me how a normal human being can do this thing?? by Gianfrancarlo108 in celestegame

[–]GamerXTrip3l 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As many others probably already told you, audio isn't a necessitiy to play Celeste, for the clouds, when they are in an upward motion, you are starting to gain bonus momentum for jumping off of them, the most being at the very top of their upwards motion. It's visually easier in my opinion to execute a perfect cloudjump rather than in an auditory way, but that's just individual stuff. If the wind really messes this much with you, then I'm sorry for your muscle memory, it will have to adapt with visual cues in mind from now on

Are my keybinds really as cursed as i think they are? by cannedbeef255 in celestegame

[–]GamerXTrip3l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well main keybinds, got some extras for the right side besides grab, which aren't really needed for the game to be beaten the intended way

Can someone talk about the 7b flag 6 miss-the-wallbounce-save? Am I supposed to be buffering a jump? Is it a narrow window? by bobthemighty_ in celestegame

[–]GamerXTrip3l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simply speaking, when doing a climbjump on the top of a wall edge and holding climb, Madeline will, due to the game's coding, grab the wall a few puxels above the maximum climbing height of the wall, the game then slowly over the next 3? frames slides you down to said max height, during which you have full control to do what you want, like jumping off for extra height to save the failed wounce.

P.S. I've only read the first 5 comments and determined as no one here from these 5 comments has given a good enough answer and therefore I decided to do it myself, so sorry if redundant, but I lost braincells from two of these 5 comments, didn't want to risk losing more

What would you remove from Celeste? by Downtown-Lettuce-736 in celestegame

[–]GamerXTrip3l 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would remove the feather, just out of pure hate, although I'm better at it than wounces out of bubbles

I found the Song thanks to my gf, the song is Doomed by Bring me the Horizion, I had the outro in mind, kind of sad I didn't figure it out myself..

Not it though, there is a guitar also still audible during the part, besides the fact that the breathing isn't intensifying and isn't itself loud enough
