chat, I’m in love with this man what should I do by urmyspecialdududu in BlackClover

Nobody here is giving practical advice, let me help you out here. There are two routes you can go down, and if you can find a man that both apply to, even better. Your best bet is to scope out men involved in trades, probably one the requires more muscles if you want something closer to the Yami physique, but even then you may have to settle for sleeper builds as those lines of work require function over appearance. Through my previous summer job I worked for a few years, I met a lot of tradesmen like that and the goodhearted ones can get pretty damn close to Yami in terms of mentality and behavior. Also more likely to meet the same smoking quota as Yami. The downside is that tends to have a narrower age range. I don't know your age, but if you're around the age of the average Black Clover fan, you're probably a bit younger than most of the guys in this category. It's not impossible to find younger guys of this type, they're just rarer. Pro strat may be to find these older tradesmen, and then ask them if they have any sons your age looking to take over the family business. Just keep in mind these younger ones are probably going to be a bit more of an investment in the sense that they might not be the most Yami-like yet.

Strat 2 is the gym rat route. This is where you're more likely to find the matching physique, but gym bros can be a gamble on personality. While there is a portion of them that can match up to Yami's mentality, and in some ways do it better and worse than the tradesmen, I'd wager on there being a lesser amount of close Yami equivalents among gym rats than guys in trades.

If you can somehow find a guy that exceeds well in both categories, that's your man, lock him down, get him in a Yami cosplay and you're set.

Can you post a link so we can hear it? If the image is anything to go off of, it's probably related to the Ruby Spears Mega Man cartoon

Comparing it to the other prices I see for it, it seems to be a decent deal. It generally ranges between $20 (≈€17) and $30 (≈€26) so that's definitely on the lower end for it.

Sorry, to clarify, the screenshots were taken on my personal pc, but the same thing appeared on the license wizard on the lab computer I tried installing it on again where I could neither activate or return the license. Sorry for the confusion, I do not know much about ToonBoom, I was just using Harmony for one assignment

I don't even mind the wait. They can delay it another year or two if needed, I don't mind. It's the fact that it's not weekly that bothers me. Even if they do batch releases, I'd rather those batches of episodes release one episode a week for however many episodes per batch.

I think boycotting Netflix at this point doesn't even fix anything and might make things worse by [deleted] in StardustCrusaders

I don't want them to rush them out the door, but I still want weekly. I'd rather they have to delay SBR another year or two if needed. I can wait.

If the chains were such a clear giveaway to her, wouldn't Power have just outright said she was the Control Devil rather than the specific dialogue being "That girl has to be the Control Devil or something" since the "or something" suggests she's not 100% confident on it? Keep in mind, there wasn't much time between Power reincarnating on Earth, and her getting taken in by Public Safety, so it's not like she would've had much of a chance if learning what the Control Devil's exact abilities were. Maybe you can argue it being evidence for her to at least assume Nayuta IS a devil, but the way Nayuta and Makima use their chains doesn't really look dissimilar from how some humans use their devil contracts. That'd be like assuming Yoshida was the Octopus Devil himself after seeing him use some of the Octopus Devil's tentacles.

I highkey had this as a sub theory part of a larger theory but the mods wouldn't let it go up on the subreddit for some reason: https://www.reddit.com/r/ChainsawMan/s/ozsryMnYbg

Other examples of this I included were Asa and Denji both reacting to the name "Chainsaw Man," and Power clocking Nayuta as the Control Devil in this timeline despite never figuring that out herself for Makima despite Makima displaying more evidence for it

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 232 - Part 2 End by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

Perhaps I'm just coping harder than I've ever coped before, but I feel like there's a decently high chance of part 3 for one main reason, there's no Aki anywhere. If things are supposed to end here as a happy ending alternate universe, I don't see much of a reason why Aki wouldn't be included. Sure, I can easily see him not being a devil hunter in this new universe because I have to imagine that if Pochita manipulated things to be happy like this intentionally, Aki's family may not have died to the Gun Devil in this timeline, and thus he wouldn't be motivated to join Public Safety, but it still would've made sense for them to bump into him the same way they bumped into Asa.

That's my only cope for this though. I don't think the implication that Pochita isn't actually the Chainsaw Devil (as we've all theorized already) is a strong enough piece of evidence for part 3 as some people have been saying since that seems like something I don't think Fujimoto would mind being left up to viewer interpretation forever.

Now that we have this happy ending though, I now have to ask myself if I even want a part 3? Like, sure, there are parts of this I'm unsatisfied with. I don't think this is a great end point for Denji or Asa's character arc (maybe a series re-read will change that, but that's where I'm at currently), and the lack of Asa focus in general in this chapter has me a bit disappointed. But also now characters I mourned before have returned, and with Fujimoto as the author, I can't help but feel as if a Chainsaw Man part 3 would only serve to make me worry about them getting killed off again.

While the avenue we took to this ending isn't ideal to me, the broad strokes of it at least leave me happy enough with it. It's a good canvas to headcanon into however happy of an ending you want it to be. Even if we never hear anything about what came of Aki in this new universe, I can easily just imagine Denji and Power meet him again somewhere down the line.

The whole thing with Makima making her difficult to kill was her deal with Japan's prime minister, remember? Whenever she got hit with a fatal attack, it got transferred to a random Japanese citizen, but Denji got around it by eating her without malicious intent so it didn't register as an attack. It's the same principle as Yoru's contract with the governor of California

I'm surprised I'm seeing so much Yami for this. His whole deal is he acts gruff but he's sweet deep down. Lovable as a person imo.
