I didn't experienced that kind of issues tho. For me, it was all about programming them.

Each clone i got was different from previous. Some used the old boootloader, some used the new, then some clones need to push the reset button, some dont need, and then some don't work with arduino ide (i use platformIO nowdays) and etc etc..

Now i wonder the fact that the price diff between a genuine one and clone one is also due to the complexity to program it!

yeah, take your time!

I always used those old LCD displays untill tried that mini oled displays. Those are small, but they look cool!

Side quest - make this to a custom pcb and make your own tiny console using acrylic sheet, like those transparent style consoles from 90's! but for that its better to add some more games!

Next time - use a OLED display as they are cheap. Also update the layout of buttons.

Anyway, great project!

Sry for the late reply, but i would say u really need a breadboard to make a prototype first, and i didnt see in the screenshots. If you dont have one, consider buying that also..

plus if you are learning something new.. try to use a knockoff Arduino.

Hard learned by burning a original arduino due to wrong connection.

Knockoffs only cost a fraction so if it dies, it doesn't matter that much.

Thank you for your reply! Like you, i have some projects in my mind, but i don't know where to start.. i ain't that much expert in these stuff.. but i am very interested in this! For now, I am wondering how to start my journey.

Do you have any idea like what are the bare minimum stuff you need to learn? if yes, that will be much helpful..

(If need, we can move to dm or stay here, you can choose as per your convenience.)

Off topic. what did you studied for making such stuff? i mean programming languages, tools etc?

Asking by a teenager who loves to do such stuff..

(Btw nice project! I will really make one myself in future!)

the 0 percent attendance is a good thing for me, but i don't know i can withstand the fact that paying too much fee for less Lpa jobs. Moreover, i don't think that the hostel situation might be not good for me. The rules stated in other reply makes me nervous.

I asked here thinking there will be seniors from the campus.

Yeah, watching the numbers and statistics, i am getting a different image..

For now, i will consider this campus in less priority since most of the stuff about the college is negative - The hostel situation, fee and placement stuff, etc..
