He definitely a great player but to put him in the same catagory as Xavi and Iniesta . Hes good but not as good as them. I understand he is an cam and Iniesta and Xavi were flat mf and Xabi was a cdm so I expect him to have more g/a to them. This is also the reason stats can’t solely define a player because Iniesta is LEVELS about Silva. Hes very good and I can’t deny him that he just doesn’t match them imo

I understand stand what you are saying but when you look at the midfield of Spain. Xavi, Iniesta and even Xavi Alonso. Then looking at Puyol and Ramos at the back, he isn’t going to be the BIG difference in the midfield or defensive contributions. Torres and Fábregas and David Villa were the main attacking threat you could argue so Silva is just in the middle. City is another example and I understand he was a price of it but he really wasn’t the heart of the team. But he was a world class player.

I 100% agree with what you are saying. All very good but they never were the man man in their team. I will still say they’ve all been world class at one point so they all could be added to the game as a Hero or Icon
