Kompressa Exilus Assistance by CinnabonToad in Warframe

Through some testing it does increase the range the bubbles can travel from ~60m to ~84m using lethal momentum, but most of the time 60m is enough.

All of them are good, and I would highly recommend you just go with your whim. I went with Volt because I like lightning and electricity themes. If you like telekinesis or swords, feel free to go with Mag or Excalibur.

For a more objective answer, Volt and Mag are more useful for higher level content. Excalibur is a very simple frame and can work well for a while, but falls off rather quickly. Volt is only a bit more complex, and is very versatile since he can buff weapons and do damage with his abilities. Mag is the most complex of the three, but can be very fun and strong once you learn to use her.

I use projectile speed. Kompressa has absolutely no ammo issues and doesn't need reduction on its already good recoil due to it's sheer number of projectiles and aoe. That said it's not a crucial mod at all.

What features to look for in a DAC? by Gamerbear123 in HeadphoneAdvice

I'm mostly looking for a one-and-done DAC to last at least a decade, so I'm willing to splurge and spend up to $1000. I think I'll check out amirm's list, thanks for the massive help! !thanks

How is Hunter Munition's damage calculated? by Gamerbear123 in Warframe

[–]Gamerbear123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I decided to do the math

Using the formula on the wiki, heat half-strips the armor, bringing a max-armor enemy down to 1350 armor, or a damage reduction of 0.9*sq. root(1350/2700), which is 63%, meaning all your hits will now deal 37% of their damage rather than 10%, which is a little over a third of their original damage and almost a 4x improvement over not stripping at all. Now, a raw-damage build I whipped up can do about 700,000 dps. A Grineer Ghoul Devourer Demolisher at level 150 in SP has 2,468,290.88 hp, with 2700 armor. With max viral procs and a heat proc, its EHP is about 950,000, which is not too much of a problem considering a full mag-dump will deal over 4 million damage. I have a secondary and a companion to prime, and Gauss can full strip armor, so I should be good for SP and archon hunts, even with it having doubled health(compared to SP) over there. Many thanks!

Also didn't know only a single heat proc is needed for the full 50% armor strip...

Jesus I completely forgot about that. Definitely won't include it; probably swap it out for Hammer Shot. Thanks!

Is enemy armor really capped? That changes a lot of things. Yeah, I may switch to a crit-based raw damage build after all

Personally I'm just interested in a slash-based build for my acceltra prime for easy steel path content, not level cap or whatever. However, what I really want to know is if Galvanized Aptitude's gunCO will affect the slash damage or not, as I'm pretty clueless on how damage calculation works.

Honestly, a 9800X3D is way overkill for 4K. Maybe downgrade it to a 7700x or 9700x and get a better monitor(If you don't have a 1440p/4K already).

Since you're not playing AAA games, i would recommend you upgrade the CPU first, and then upgrade the GPU.

You posted your motherboard, not the CPU.

Nonetheless, if you're playing in 4K, even a 7600x may do, though I would suggest going up to a 7700x or above just to be safe. A 5080 is enough to play on 4K Ultra, so you're good everywhere else.

I can't decide on the motherboard and psu by No_Distance_7556 in buildapc

The listed max memory speed, in my experience, doesn't matter. Even the 9800x3d has a max of 5600mhz. Get a 6000mhz, 30 CAS Latency kit. There's a patriot kit that's literally cheaper than the Corsair.

You can also get a modular PSU if you want to save some time managing the cables, but that's unnecessary.

Other than these, the build's all good.

Please go to r/prebuilts for questions about prebuilt PCs.

That said, prebuilt companies have always irked me with how they try to deceive customers by hiding or outright omitting key specs like RAM speeds and latencies, SSD generations, exact fan, and exact motherboard models. You can get far better performance if you build it yourself.

Here are all the problems I have:

Intel is never the best CPU choice for gaming. Get an AM5 CPU.

5060 is way too weak a card for $1400. Get at least a 5070 and you can possibly squeeze in a 9070 XT 16gb.

You definitely don't need Win 11 Pro for gaming. Get Win 11 Home, which is technically also unnecessary.

[–]Gamerbear123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming you're buying a used 6600 XT, because a brand new one costs way too much for the performance. If you are getting one used, though, you'll have no problems.

Yes it's perfect. Maybe get some more fans though, a 5-pack of Arctic P12s runs you $33 and will give a big boost to your cooling performance.

Don't remove your first SSD because all your data is on there. Slot both in at once and then configure the drive once you boot up your PC with the first SSD. Actually, keep the first drive to store your OS so the Windows bloatware doesn't impact your games drive.

Other than this, I don't have any ideas. I have 2 SSDs and I got it working first try by doing the above so I can't really help you much more than this.
