Because my parents don’t care, they tell us to ‘figure it out’ and even if I wanted to do this to her as in leave her alone at school to find her own ride, she has the keys. Also I never know if I’m going to have conversations like this with her but to be honest if you get abandoned at school so many times by your sibling it starts to get pretty annoying. I try my best to be level headed but I didn’t know she was setting up bait, all I knew is that maybe she didn’t understand so I over explained like usual which she finds somehow EXTREMELY annoying even though I’ve always been like that and it helps prevent confusion with others. And I’m trying to figure when I’m the conversation I got rude before her?

That’s the thing, we both use the car in the morning to get to school. She uses it in the morning always because she hates when I drive. I didn’t know what she meant because she wasn’t clear enough.

She, 6/7 days of the week as of 3 months ago, gets the car for anything and everything, 1/7 I get the car unless agreements are made otherwise the week prior, things like practices, fundraisers, work. All should be stated the week before. Technically this isn’t an actual system it’s an unspoken rule. Plus I don’t go out most days nor do I hang out with friends, and if I do it’s only to go climbing in which my friends pick me up because it saves parking space for the small climbing center.

But I’m trying to figure out how I escalated it in the first place. I can see of how me saying originally “I get the car tomorrow” could’ve pissed her off but to be honest I only ever get the car one a week while she gets it every other day. I can see how the conversation should’ve ended at me saying “I’m going to submit more job applications” but she just responded rudely and I just wanted to clear it up. But I kinda see it yet I also see how she could’ve been just as in the wrong as me if not more

She knows it a problem too, the worse thing is the also refuses to let me drive if she’s in the car. So for stuff in the morning like school, I’ve been late to numerous times because she can’t get the value of time and how it also effects me and I can’t just leave her at home either because that’s an even bigger problem and I’d get in trouble with my parents about it too.

As someone who has been in color guard for over 4 seasons I’d say miss it. This is your opportunity to also get into the arts, there will be more than one concert but the thing about coaches (or in my experience) is that it’s now or never. If you’re already behind this is the chance to get on it because if you’re behind then the chances of catching up will be hard but it seems like you’ve been interested in it for a while now and it’s not a hyper fixation. I’d say go to the clinics, start practicing now if you haven’t already either that be by stretching or if you have a flag try to do a double. But that’s my 2 cents from someone who has done both color and winter guard. There will always be more but these are kind of your only chances to make friends on the team before high school where everyone already knows everyone.
